HI All,
I've played and run many tourneys on other sites. Thought I throw up a few of my old ones and see what anyone thought over how they'd play out on this site.
Fantastic Four Tourney
Rules
You can build a team of Four. That consists of the following power sets.
1. One brick- MUST BE BELOW class 100 or above. . This category is limited to strength, durability and physical attributes only (endurance, agility, speed)only. If a character you choose has other non physical powers s/he will not have them for the battle
2. One energy projector. This character will be able to absorb or emit an energy type output limit will be Vulcan . Again if a character chosen has abilities other than energy projection/control they will not have them for the tournament
3. One force type power- can be creating controlling a force, TP, force fields or energy based constructs ( these constructs will be limited to a force of energy and will not be able to do anything but be a physical force, barrier or restraint ). Basically these characters can project a force as blast or protection or entrapment, they can manipulate it's shape but anything their force creates cannot act on it's own, it has to be controlled by them, and fall under the guidelines below of what's not allowed..
4 Wildcard power. This power is where you could throw a spanner in the works. In this category you can have any type of power as long as it doesn't break the below rules.
Things not allowed
Reality warping
Time manipulation
dimensional manipulation
power absorption/copying or negating (I use that enough in other threads - it's OUT)
Offensive Telepathy (you can have TP to read minds or communicate/disseminate information to your team but Mind rape is out)
No one skyfather level or above
No magic above Dr Druid, at the powered up by the Celtic Druid Gods level.
NO power cosmic
No Auto win devices or powers ( Midnighter's battle Computer, Mother Box, IG, ION, HOG, HOTU, etc)
I reserve the right to add other rules as may be deemed needed
Defenders/Shadowpact Tourney
Your need to pick a team that can deal with mystical threats.
All characters to have mystical power base but Only one can actually be a spell caster. Ideally one would be a powerhouse, the one a utility and one a miscellaneous (though that is completely up to you)
Each team needs four members
Banned characters - Classic Strange, Classic Fate, Shuma-Gorath, Cththon, or any Omnipotent beings (even if only so in their own dimension). Other versions of Strange and Fate acceptable. No reality warpers. Anyone trying to sneak one through will have their character limited mid tourney to the levels of Dr Druid.
I reserve the right to DQ any character if I see fit for what ever reasons that come up during team building
All powers that are magical in nature or have a connection to magic are open.
Thoughts ??? would these work here??
