I PM'd leo, looks like me and PG are fighting in a Canadian rain forest with huge sequoia trees.
(look what tourneys have done did to my brain.)
i trust you will rectify it though

There's actually some on Vancouver Island as it lies in the temperate rainforest biome. I know this as I used to live there (Victoria)
Mungi is the king.

😂
or leo is, since, you know, i'm the one who thought up the BF in hopes of educating the masses. 😄
canadians and their rainforests rule! nwoot
PG cut his last post really close. It wasn't a last-second posting blitz, which is generally frowned upon, and there's nothing wrong with getting the last word, so kudos. But that was some potentially-disastrous timing. Grats, I suppose.
😉
I'd also like to reiterate my desire for 5 judges a match. Leo did a great job finding lots of judges, so I think it's viable. Probably too late to implement this week, but for future matches/rounds.
As long as judges are informed of when they need their ruling sin by, not just "sometime after it ends" then I wouldn't foresee a problem.
I'm not opposed to 3, mind you, I'd just prefer 5. Judging isn't an exact science, so the more we get in each match, the closer we get to an informed consensus. Whether or not I'm involved in a match, I hate seeing someone lose 2-1, knowing that a different configuration of judges might have flip-flopped the decision. At least at 3-2 you can say, "Well maybe I could've won, but if I couldn't convince 3 good judges that I won the match, I didn't do enough to win."

I was thinking along the same lines though I wasn't sure whether there are actual redwoods there (aren't sequoyas mountain trees?). BTW guys from what I know that sh*t is one of the most misty places on earth, so line of sight of teams is going to be severely impaired.
As for PG, I used the same tactic against B-Dub& Smurph at the round robin round of Delph's stuff. Posted my rebuttals\analysis in MS Word file a day before the closing date and then posted'em 15 minutes before the deadline... and won.
