No one was creating problems. We just needed clarification. We figured out after a bit that it was tech, since it's obvious you weren't becoming Banner legally.

I'm not sure I agree with Cannonball level shielding being low meta, but leo's the boss.

I also think the burden of 'standard' should be on the person doing the drafting, not on us to prove it wrong. I've used, what, crescent darts, the truncheon, and Angelwing with MK. Dozens and usually hundreds of appearances for those. I'm not sure how Smurph is saying that any equipment Banner has has more appearances than those. Noh-Varr's gun, I'd agree with, only because he has limited appearances to begin with, and a fair amount don't have the gun. I personally think things like Harrow's drainer also aren't standard...does he walk around with the thing?! Standard is tricky, so I'm always happy to allow for some leeway, but I do think we're being a bit cavalier with what we're constituting as standard.

But Banner's allowed, so I guess that's that.

Wasn't Vixen banned in the tourney earlier? At least Gar doesn't stack powers... so I can tolerate him.

What's the smallest that he can transform? Are we gonna be dealing with microorganisms?

Amoeba in cartoon, but otherwise...house fly of some sorts. And yeah, darling... that's GONNA be a problem. Though offensive teleporting is banned...I don't like supercharged fly teleporting to my ear for teh OHKO.

bw's team is fine--all attacks are defensible.

Ok then I know I'm only a temporary judge but Banner's shields allowed him to take direct hits from the Juggernaut which were depicted at 8.0 on the seismic scale. Now it was obvious that given any real amount time Juggernaut would have eventually breached them.

Still I wanted to give a clear feat on just how tough those shields are.

as a spectator, sometimes I find drafting drama far more entertaining than the actual battles 🙂

Beast Boy's not low meta. I realize pushing the limits is part of tourney drafting, and the fact is that a couple others drafted aren't low meta either. But BB is further from low meta than anyone that's been drafted imo, by a fair margin. I won't be raising a fuss, and I realize that objections aren't going to get him overturned. But I like my opinion on record.

Also, can we confirm he hasn't turned microscopic? Even if Blair doesn't intend to use that tactic, if he is capable of it, the "no neutering" clause should axe him.

I'll even go so far as to say Boomerang was one of the ones that would end up in "mid" in the tiers thread. I just think BB is to those picks what people like M and Boomer are to the regular low metas.

But like I said, what's done is done. I don't have to be happy about it, and my question about the microscopic powers remains, but there's not much else I can say.

if anyone has proof he can go microscopic he'll be banned. frankly i have read only classic titans and i'd be hard-pressed to say logan couldn't take him by simply slashing him to ribbons. however, it is possible i MAY (gasp!) have erred on this pick. if anyone has some solid evidence to suggest he is too much for this level, show me.

christ, well ok. I'm not just trying to be difficult, because I do have a vague recollection of some microbe feat where he divides into cells or something. Obviously it could be confused with any number of the thousands of scans I've perused on KMC through the years. I guess I'll go on a brief hunt.
