It might be best if judges just vote on one victor for the tourney match- I'm afraid that I'm going to have to drop out. There's no way that I have time for the FFA, cross-over matches and then the gold medal match, and I'd hate to run the chance of winning my cross over match and then dropping out then.
Within the next week and a bit I have to write two more finals, move in to my new house, fly back from university to Calgary, pack all my stuff and get first aid/CPR training, then head to Europe for a month. The latest I could submit a post by would be April 29th or 30th I reckon, which would be in the middle of the FFA.
I'm sorry Leo, I know I said I'd do my best to stay in for the long haul, but I did clarify that I really couldn't compete after April as I recall.
Alternatively (I just realized what a good idea this is), advance Omega Vision with Charlotte. He should have a week to come up with solid redrafts now.

all right, so the people in the playoffs will be digi, bw, cdb and PG. sorry OV but the others all have more wins. can't advance you over others with more wins.
option 1: cdb has first locked up in her pool. first winner of the FFA gets first in the other pool, second gets second in that same pool and the LOSER gets second in cdb's pool. all competitors get in, FFA detremines seeding alone.
option 2: because everyone gets in ANYWAY, i could simply assign places based on a random draw of the 3. no ffa needed and you can start planning with your new teams. i could start matches on sat.
option 3: i'm waiting to hear option 3
of those 4, what are your thoughts?
Good thing I read this first. I was just coming on to finish my FFA writeup.
A 4-way FFA would be fun, though possibly underwhelming because nobody's tourney life would be at stake. I doubt anyone would object to randomly assigned seeding, but I can only speak for myself. I don't care who I fight or when.

Nah, it's just that I've had too many successes and failures to feel anything but indifferent toward which particular participants I face. And if you don't feel like you have a realistic chance to beat any other team in the tourney, then you aren't going to win.

That variant is more of a fun. FFA basically becomes exhibition match which is cool stuff🙂
expected more opinions on this. so i'll make a decision. since the ffa would be nothing more than a seeding exhibit, i'll just assign the seeds. based on judges votes, PG finished last in his pool with 2 votes. bw had 3 votes total and digi won the pool with 4. cdb finished first overall with 5 votes. so, final seedings look like this:
1. cdb
2. digi
3. bw
4. PG
therefore, using that, the playoff matches will be as follows:
cdb vs PG (highest vs lowest seeds)
bw vs digi.
matches will start TOMORROW AT 5EST and will last until next friday at midnight. 10 posts/competitor. battlefield remains sahara desert, 1km apart, out of line of direct site due to 40' sand-dunes.
confirmed judges are bran, KK, JLKing and eny. i'll try and find one more or eliminate one judge. please have all OP's in by tomorrow at 5.
