That's the first proper look at Godzilla we've seen in a trailer I think, usually it's all dusty around him so you don't get a proper look

Also i think that there's other monsters as i mentioned before, Seems like Rodan is in it.

this thing makes the Kaiju from "Pacific Rim" look like the Geico gecko.

You sure about this? Kaiju in that movie are very big and strong as well.

Cat 5, in particular, tanked nuclear explosion at point blank range and he was already seriously wounded before this.

Yeah, theres definitely something else involved. However, I don't want to know anymore, me thinks. I'm already excited enough. 😂

Thats the second Kaiju. It looks like Godzilla would eat that thing alive.

This new Godzilla is (rumored) 150m tall and far more bulky/massive than any previous Godzilla.

Slattern (the Class 5 Kaiju) was 181m, but lacks the large body-girth of Godzilla.

Well, he is the King of the Monsters.

This trailer is already better than the whole 98 Zilla put together.

I think I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed the 1998 American Godzilla. I think it's because I saw it when I was like 4 (I'm 19 now), and it was the first Godzilla movie I had ever seen. Probably my favorite childhood movie, actually.

You have to admit, the monster itself looks pretty cool.

I was thinking with the trailer around the 2.06 mark, Maybe Gigan?

Well it's rumored there's more than one Muto. My guess is they'll fuse to become the Megaguirus.

According to witnesses of the Godzilla trailer shown in Comic-Con 2013, the Muto are spider-like creatures with long, thin limbs and scythes.

According to an interview, the "Winged MUTO Monster is described as having two legs and wings. Looks a bit like a moth. The head in particular was somewhere between a moth and a fly in appearance. The creature had claws like the classic Godzilla monster Gigan (meaning hooks).

If one google-images Godzilla 2014, there's an interesting concept model that looks pretty close to the sneak peak in the 2nd trailer. He definitely has a "pudgier" look, but of course, that's all muscle. I'm guessing they may've streamlined him for water. Kind of like a seal. Bulky, almost unwieldy on land, streamlined and swift in the water.

"I'm not fat, I'm big boned" - Godzilla

This will go down as the greatest piece of fiction ever made.

That's what you said about Pacific Rim.

😂

So I'm 1-1 so far. 👆

Pacific Rim WAS pretty epic.

Looks pretty good thus far.

the other monsters in the film as you know are called MUTOs. There is two of them a male that is around half of Big G's height and the larger female who is roughly the same size. They are from Gojiras time and supposedly these two species hunt each other. there is no rod an or any toho monster in the film as the rights to kaiju like Ghidora and Rodan are almost as expensive as Godzilla himself.

And Gojira would wtf murder any combination of kaiju/Jaeger from PR. Good movie but Godzilla started this gangster s#@%!
