Banners been recently portrayed as somewhat of a
Reed/McGuyver and in the top 3 smartest people in marvel

If you use overall showings, not just the "wank everything hulk" crap from the last couple years, Banner should be at the lower end of the 10 smartest. Assuming he even makes the list at all. The guy only outsmarted Thunderbolt Ross half the time, who himself is no genius. Banner can pick the category and theres a good chance Doom knows more about it than he does.

without bruce's modern showings he is just a glorified clock maker and a lab tech ass. compared to doom.

these new unexplain feats and crappy characters are the main reason i stopped buying a lot of marvel.

Banner is the best when it comes to nuclear, and he's probably at the top in physics, with Richards and Doom.

Doom beats him in all other field.

Doom could have probably cured Banner of the Hulk if he would have only asked.

Bruce Banner has always been in Reed Richards league it just that he never had the chance to shine.

Doom > being in Reed Richard's league

Banner is better than doom in what he specialzies in and besides that doom>>>>>>>>everything else banner knows.

True but like Doom he is a genius in many scientific field. That why his intelligence is ranked extraordinary genius (possessing genius in multiple intellectual areas).

Doom isnt a particularly impressive biologist, he even admits that himself. Neither is richards, Banner should go to the HE for that.

Banner probably understands gamma radiation better than anyon else.
