Whenever banner has created/found/discovered the device that will cure him
1. Hulk will arise to smash it
2. Banner will reignite the hulk with more gamma radiation because the hulk is necessary to saving the day.It's almost like an allegory in saying that science cannot cure emotional ails. Drugs for example to cure depression do not get to the root of the depression if he never deal with it.
