Gears of War 3

Well, it's kind of shitty that at least some of that stuff was already on the disk (pre-made DLC is morally wrong), but nonetheless, content wise that isn't bad for only 10 dollars, I guess.

That's pretty shitty.

I like the idea of DLC but having DLC on the disc already is pretty crappy.

No kidding. Adding a rocket launcher to the Silverback is just sad to look at when that should've already been in Horde mode and what really popped the cork in my head was seeing Big Rig Dizzy in there. I saw the dude as a Bot one time during matchmaking. I was under the impression he was one of those pre-order bonus characters who randomly appear from time to time but I guess not. The guy's already in the game but can only be unlocked if you cough up some dough and the same goes for the Onyx Guard as well. Glad to see money hasn't corrupted Epic 🙄

Why are Dizzy and an Onyx Guard DLC anyways? With Cliff talking about adding Tai and RAAM, I was under the impression they were going to be included in the first pack that had characters in it. Instead, we get characters who should've already been available since the first day Gears 3 came out. CliffyB, you douche.

Capcom been doing shit like this for a long time now. It really sucks to see other companies doing the same thing. The whole season pass thing is stupid too and lets not talk about the weapon skins.

Like I said before, I don't mind DLC like weapon skins, character skins or whatnot if they are original to the game and not on the disc.

As well, I don't mind new maps, new campaign if it's not on the disc as well.

I think Epic could of created original maps for their horde mode instead of just reusing maps from Versus or the campaign.

I might get the season pass. Now that is all cleared up for me.

Anyone curious as to why the Locust attacked the human race besides that old "it's because they're a destructive race" excuse?

Turns out that way before the Human-Locust War ever began, the Locust have been at civil war with the Lambent for a couple years. To find a way to end it, Myrrah relied on the human, Adam Fenix, who discovered her kind to find a solution. Years later, Myrrah has grown impatient and has demanded Adam to find someway to kill the Lambent off soon but he kept saying he needed more time. As the Lambent kept pushing the Locust back, Myrrah had the feeling her and her people were going to lose their home. Out of frustration, she had a new goal which was to invade the surface and make it the Locust's new home. So I guess instead of gently coming out from underground and asking the human leaders to help her out, she goes and gets her people into another war while there's still another one right at their doorstep. Dumbest. Queen. Ever.

Anyone heard about a possible Gears of war 4?

There will be another Gears but will be an offshoot or something.

I wouldn't mind a prequel maybe but I don't know if I would want to play another Gears unless something changes. All three games kind of blended together for me.

Been playing a lot of Horde / Beast Mode and co-op with my cousins. Having a lot of fun. I wasn't really feeling the campaign, but I never really liked the story of GEARS, or any of the characters, alternatively my cousins all love it. A bunch of grown ass men getting emotional when Dom sacrificed himself. Funny sight. lol

Adam Fenix has a disgustingly bad character model / textures, I almost did a spit take when I saw it. Awful.

I am tempted to buy at least one weapon skin. I know that will make it a tool but...rainbow looks so awesome lol. I tried beast mode for the first time tonight and had a lot of fun. Got somewhat pissed I didn't get to be a berserker though.

Bought the rainbow weapon skin. I'm a tool, but now I can run around chainsawing people while shouting "TASTE THE RaINBOW!"

Big Head Mode is funny as hell and their voices are just crylaugh

My explanation for the 2nd moment is that people thought dedicated servers would stop the host advantage. They thought wrong. There is always 1 player that gets "host-advantage" even if it isn't as dominant as the previous "God Host" Gears.

The first one...well...that cannot be explained, justified and or...even possible. One thing can be said about it...Sawed-Off.
