hahaha i called that sos nerf pages ago! : D it was inevitable. cliffy b can complain about guns being nerfed all he wants but the fact of the matter is that hes not a balancer and the metagame isnt his priority. his job is basically to think of what would "be cool to have in the game".
gears of war was never meant to be a casual game for noobs and bad players to be good at. its always been a highly competitive game like starcraft and the sawed off in its original state was just anti-competitive. it had to be changed.

I guess I'll give MP another try. I play a lot of FPS and Gears online have to be the most frustrating of them all (to me at least). the whole roll in, shoot, roll out thing is not very appealing to me.

That Wave is the only one left for me to complete all 50 waves. i could just ignore it since I did finish wave 50 with Nemesis, but it won't feel right.

don't touch any of the ash people before reaching Griffin's place. As soon as you're in the building, look for a room with it's entrance barred. Someone behind them will let you in and take some weapons. That's when the achievement should pop up.
Which is awesome because those guns help a lot when beating the game on insane.

The Sawed-Off had the nerf coming. it wasn't even that bad in the beta. I don't know what could've gone wrong.
I think they should give the hammerburst a bigger clip. It is easily the least used rifle because it feels underpowered when compared to the lancer and retro.
The nerf isn't even that big of a deal. Sawed-OFf can still kill. it is funny how some stupid kids were expecting the gun to become complete crap. That didn't happen and I am glad.

I had no idea that you can choose which wave to start on in a private match. That'll make things a lot easier, at least.
Horde is pissing me off. I'm becoming a horde master trying to complete that fkn 49th wave. I was playing on Mercy(public) and I had a very solid fortification in the church with all entrances with lasers blocking all the entrances, a fully upgraded decoy outside and a sentry inside WITH a silverback. I was armed with Boomshot, lancer and 2 frags. I left to take a piss between the time to start building fortifications and the beginning of a new wave. I didn't take more than a minute and the fkn thing booted me.
