Yes, it's a legendary Pokemon you can only get through a Nintendo event.

@ Moo and other B/W gamers

Which PKMN in B/W was your HM Slave? (not that you need one lol)

Damn, it's the only one I like aside from fire piggy.

I used a Druddigon as mine. Can't fly, but I had a Golurk for that. So I was good.

Druddigon can learn Surf, Strength and Cut. Worked well enough for me.

WUT??

YOU USED DRUDDIGON AS A SLAVE??!

For shame, I say!!!

I second that.

Well I was using my Zekrom that play through.

Well then, I guess you have redeemed yourself for that particular playthrough. 😛

Didn't really bother with an HM slave this time around. I mean I rarely had to use any of the moves anyways.

Also the level spike after beating the game was incredibly annoying.

Did anybody else notice the Megaman style music in Driftveil city?

A thread for ya Pokemaniacs

I tried Hydregion and I'm not that impressed. Just a hair too slow and a weakness against fighting... Specsmence is better IMO.

Okay, I know I'm some months late for this, but I got pkmn White on my birthday as I said I would. Didn't start playing it until a day or two later though, but now I'm on the victory road.

My questions for the moment are, should I visit those three unvisited cities/towns on the map before, or after the Elite 4? Haven't really even backtracked to the older places yet (using Surf and my other newfound HM/TM abilities). Would you say that's worth it for some items? And who to use the master ball on? Am thinking either Zekrom or Kyurem...
And for Kyurem to be a physical or special sweeper if I bother to get it? I noticed its attack and special attack base stats are the same like Rayquaza's. mmm

Been liking Team Plasma pretty much the whole game, but I still stand by what I said about this game's "rivals", in that they pale compared to Gary and Silver. Pretty annoying too.

I think: You can visit those three towns after. Not too much to do except legendary mons.

I don't know who to keep the master ball for, probably the only roaming one in the game. You won't have to use it on the front cover mon.

Oh, okay. Figured as much.

So I see.. I accidentally KO'ed Thundurus not too long ago when I was trying to catch it, though (one of the roaming legendaries). Am I screwed as far as having him now, or will he be back after I beat the Elite 4 or somethin'?

I don't think you can visit those cities if you want to. The grassy areas on those routes contain Pokemon from previous generations, so you'd need the National Dex, which doesn't come to you until after the Elite Four.

Physical attacks will likely work better for you against Kyurem, because it allows you to smack it with rock and fighting type moves. Special attacks would primarily force you to use Fire/Ice for super effective moves, and a few Dragon type moves. None of which should actually get super effective damage, since Dragon resists the elemental types. And Ice may resist Dragon, but I can't remember right now.

So yeah, stick to Fighting and Rock types if you can, because it's easier to get supars on that Ice type.

I can't say for sure about Thundurus. But N > Gary and Silver. Not surprising, since his competitors are a douche and an *******.

Yeah, I ended up figuring out that first part on my own when I tried visiting those places first, ironically.

All right, I'll try some of that stuff you said against Kyurem. Thanks. ^^ Again though, do ya think Kyurem would be better as a physical or special sweeper after it's caught? Once I know, it'll be easy to decide what nature I want it at.. and I've always been patient at the nature game when it comes to ubers I like. 😛

And I ended up randomly running into Thundurus again, so I guess I'm good as far as him. Agreed about N. He was beast (I was referring to Bianca and Cheren when I mentioned the rivals though). Team Plasma makes most of the previous poke villain organizations look like jokes too. Having to hunt down those sages one at a time after the Elite 4 was a bit of a challenge..

I'd go with Special Attack based. His movepool seems to lean towards that, and there isn't much else to decide what he's best at when attacks are the same outside of that. Though that unfortunately leaves you with only two real options for a Dragon type STAB move, Dragon Pulse or Draco Meteor. Shouldn't matter much though. Either one should do fine.

You could probably manage a mixed type pretty well too. Go for the Attack and Sp. Attack of a more balanced variety, should you choose to.

Hmm, all right. Sounds like a good idea... What would the best nature be for that though? I usually go for modest or timid when it comes to Special Attack-based pokemon, or adamant when it comes to Physical-based, but what would be the best for a mixed variety?

Probably Hasty to boost his speed.

*looks up hasty nature*

Is it wise to lower Kyurem's physical defense though? mmm Or does he hardly need it?
