Nidoking vs Tyranitar

You guys are jonning about speed again? Being faster is an "extreme".
There is no "I'm almost as fast as /b/", because you are still slower and will stay that way every time.
If Nidoking is faster than Tyranitar by the most miniscule amount you can conceive, then he is still faster than Ty, and will always be faster than Ty.

I think this bit of dialogue is a fine example of my point:

Shinomori Aoshi : "One width of paper closer, and I'd have sliced your jugular."
Kenshin : "But that narrow margin is the key difference between me and you in your present form."

I can post a dialogue where the difference in speed didn't matter. I don't see any validity in your post since it wasn't even dialogue pertaining to anything in the Pokeverse. Those two people that are "talking" are probably evenly matched in all categories but speed. Once again, greater speed does not necessarily equals victory.

How narrow-minded... If you weren't able to see my point, I give you my pity.

You brought in irrelevant dialogue just because you think that speed is the only thing that separates the two.

Wei's new sig makes me smile.

Read moar. Speed has been a recurring issue that some stubborn people refuse to accept. Regardless of whether you cared for the dialogue, the fact about speed stands true.

1/4 faster then Sonic, you have a great advantage. 1/4 faster then peak human, good advantage. 1/4 faster then something that's fastest is maybe human jogging speed, some advantage. Its like comparing a fast jogger to a slow runner, with the jogger being taller and stronger. And that longer range is gonna get rid of that slight advantage.

That is another issue entirely, and you aren't wrong, Rain. I just want everyone to realize that a speed advantage is solid. Either you are faster or you are slower. There is no in-between.

We all know he's faster and there's no in-between but by how much is very important as well as all the other advantages out there. Not to mention its very unlikely that Nidoking can dodge like what has been said with its form.

Well, I know we've already been over this, but it all comes back to skill (infinite circle of logic is infinite). Tyranitar by his very nature is a lumbering creature with great power. Nidoking has great power as well, slightly less in my opinion, but Ty seems a bit stronger in my eyes. But when you take into account that Nidoking has proficient use of charges, headbutts, and most importantly, his tail, then Tyranitar range and power advantage become null.
A small piece of wood or wire could cause a person to trip; surely Nidoking's tail would put Ty on the ground.

A bit stronger? Ones base move is transition towers, the other is mountains. A charge and headbutt will end tragic for Nidoking with only hopes being on the horn and you forget that Tyranitar has a larger/or same size tail that most likely is stronger, then again turning your back at that close range is as bad as a headbutt.

So to you is it clear and obvious that King wins or..?

Fissure. 😐 Ty can crush mountains, Nidoking can create a new fault line.

Ty has no tail or combat feats.

That's not a base move. As in what he can do with his normal hits. Y'know a Slowpoke can learn Fissure, is it now stronger then Slaking?

Not but if you keep relative to its other body strength it isnt hard to say that its tail packs power, even if his tail is 1/10th of its arms powers would be more then Kings tail.

Really now? 😆 I guess that's why it can learn Iron Tail and Aqua Tail.

As for the speed difference, seems others have forgotten that Tyranitar has Dragon Dance.

You have misinterpreted.

How so?

Still waiting for Spinda to prove that every Nidoking is automatically as strong as an abnormally well trained Sandshrew.

And again, if you guys honestly still think that Nidoking is so much faster, then Tyranitar uses Rock Polish which makes a Rhyperior faster than any Nidoking. And since this doesn't use game mechanics, Nidoking is not automatically going to get a hit because he's faster.

Wow, you guys have almost distracted me from the fact that Tyranitar has nothing in the way of evidence for his claims. Show me Ty leveling a mountain.

Show us Nidoking piercing a diamond. 😐
