I agree that until Sentry has consistent feats at this level for 2010, this should chill for a while. But with his fanboys we all know that wont happen.

Sentry went from a "top tier" who was constantly jobbing to an immortal cosmic being that casually overpowers Molecule Man while getting a grasp on his completly new powers.
It's not a feat as much as its a complete 180 on the character's abilities and powerlevel. It's one thing to show Wonder Woman being able to punch a planet apart, but it's a different thing to have her reality warp the Spectre into a mushroom and revealing that she has learned about being Mxy's sister.
Unless this issue is retconned into Norman's dream or something equally unlikely, I don't see what is so illogical about pointing out that yes, Sentry is far above conventional heroes.

It may have been the Void using those powers. Let his flex his power in serious battles -against CC Creed or in Siege to begin with- and I wouldn't mind bumping him up. But if he just stops using his power altogether then nothing's changed.

It's worth pointing out that his eyes were black until he said "I cannot die" and couldn't seem to remember that he saved them all. But it's still his powerlevel. It's still the way his abilities work. He is still an immortal near-omnipotent Galactus like being. The only difference is that he is emo while in normal mode and that apparently stops him from attaining his Void mode levels. And judging from the way he's been received the last few months due to him not being to able to attain his assumed Superman-like level due to crying all the damn time, imagine how he'll be received now. This excuse or modality of managing the character won't work and, like I already said, they shot themselves in the foot with this reveal on how powerfull he is. He's even more ridiculous.
