That truly is all the story did and it was handled poorly to boot. Lets see, fans piss and moan because Sentry is more powerful than the flagship characters so Marvel decides to get rid of him. Seige happens and Bob turns into a crab and decides to commit suicide or just leave period, but fans rejoice because Thor shot him with lightning and they can in turn say that Thor killed him.

I think Sentry in general was mishandled...
He went from a pretty interesting version of Samaritan who's his own worst enemy, to getting Bendised up where he had NO redeeming qualities anymore. His heroic half was a retarded thug ripping people in half and tearing heads off, and his evil half was like Miracleman Junior...

the reason sentry sucked so bad in DA was because they took away the heroic sentry side...it seemed to completely disappear after his mini series...it was only void persona(evil) and bob persona(wuss) ...no sentry at all...i do recall there being a sentry side to him in his mini series no?
it seemed no existent to me after he seemingly got split apart or whatever in his second mini series
