It's like a boss fight from a video game. Sentry is the first form, Void is the final form. Superman will beat on Sentry until becomes Void... and then Void will tentacle rape Superman until he dies.

Superman isn't beating on Sentry. Albeit his a temperamental pussy, but his still an Elite Top Tier who rivals Superman physically on top of his energy based powers.

If Superman beats Sentry, it'd be after one hell of a fight. Fighting the Void simply wouldn't be fair. I mean let's be honest, Superman's no Thor. He isn't back handing Sentry away, and holding his own against a Void possessed Sentry. 🙂

Thor? Thor's stamina took a hit but that was it. He looked fine throughout the event.

It's Asgard and the Asgardians that I have complains about.

All of the Asgardians jobbed. it affected Thor more because hes way more powerful than the rest and got punked by U-Foes.

I didn't have a problem with Thor being momentarily knocked out by the forces mounted against him. I would have liked a few more heavy hitters but whatever. Thor being weakened is what I disliked but that's an acceptable loss.

Asgardians are the ones who took the biggest hits. They were being killed off by the dozens, just so characters looked good. Daken, Taskmaster, Mister X, Bullseye, Venom etc. all killed plenty under writers in various titles because it made them look badass.

I hope that's not in response to me because it doesn't disprove anything I claimed. I said that Thor was holding his own against a Void possessed Sentry. Which is exactly what was happening. Granted like I've said in the past, once Thor destroyed Sentry's body with that lightning bolt and the Void almost completely manifested, he was winning. To be fair though, I think he got Thor off guard.

Even though some nancy boy with a girl's haircut held his own for a short time, the Void did come across as being just that bit more powerful.

So closing for now, but not against reopening it once Sentry returns.
