I remember that. It was some D-Lister and Superman withstood it by sheer willpower or something (however that happens). I cant say for sure, but it seems that the Sentrys matter manipulation should be many degrees higher than that since he kind of punked Reece and so forth. Maybe not.

Anyways, i'm not real confident that Clark can withstand matter manipulation on higher scales just because he did it against some chump once.

Has sentry actually done Molecule manipulation on the scale it would take to take apart superman? I know that when he took apart reece he had black eye's which was always imo a clear indication that that was the void, The only example i can think of him doing it is when he made that werewolf.

Or are we talking about the time the Azmodel/Spectre actually turned Superman into salt? Because that actually worked for a page, until Zatanna and a couple of others fixed the handful of them.

But, I have a hard time believing that this ridiculously high end magical version is akin to what Sentry might do.

Interesting thing about that Day of Judgement scene though, is that when Superman was changed, the baddies were acting like they won, then a page later when Superman was fixed, Etrigan already understood or seemed to, that it was the beginning of the end.

he's resisted magical transmutation from demons too. It isn't just some once off ability he's shown.
