I was kinda hoping Nero would make it into the game.. but I guess he'd be too much like Hazama from BlazBlue, in regards to his gauntlet snatchin people to re-combo the shit out of them

She's awesome no matter where she appears. awesome

Likely normals. In Okami, the whip (called Rosary) is a standard weapon, and Amaterasu has three types (Glaive [sword], Reflectors [shield-type weapon] & the Rosary).
The Reflector is her starter weapon, and she has normals with it, and she has a weapon switch. Put two and two together, and you get that she'll be able to perform normals with whatever weapon is equipped.

It could really be ossum here as it's the fastest and longest-reaching physical weapon type of hers. In Okami, it's offset by having a low attack strength/hit, but that's somewhat compensated by the rapidness of said weapon. The Rosary can also be fired off as bullets.
Could be overpowered in MvC3. Maybe they'll make it slower.

BTW, you can totally tell I'm a huge Amaterasu fan. 😐
