what character "types" would you like to see in this game, without naming names...

projectile spammer
tank types
up-close / agility
grappler
keep-away
etc...(as theres obviously more than I've noted)
maybe even a hybrid?

Capcom said they weren't planning to really do anything at gamescom so I never expected to see anything "new new" revealed. Gonna have to wait for TGS for the primo goods.

And since we already knew about them it's good that they got them out of the way.

They already were out of the way tho.

Not really. We knew they were gonna be in, but they just hadn't been officially confirmed now. And now that's out of the way maybe we'll get an episode 2 trailer featuring Cap vs Trish, Doom vs Chun Li, Felicia vs SS, and VJ vs Dormammu. At the beginning of the trailer, we'll also see the silhouettes of Frank West and Spider-Man and maybe Thor and Ammy as well as 3 or 4 completely new characters.

1 of them should be Cyclops.

and Izuna, I "agreed to disagree" the first few times you called her stupid.. which I was completely fine with because as we all know, we arent all going to like the same things.. but like I was saying, it was having the multitude of 'stupid' that eroded away at my tolerance

obviously me disliking those characters is my opinion and I've never led anyone to believe otherwise.. but now you see how ridiculous it is on the outside to have someone constantly calling characters stupid.. ring a bell?

I really didn't think they would announce someone like Strider, Wesker, or Storm right now and then when TGS gets here and be like, uhh... well... here's Viewtiful Joe and Dormammu! They'll probably save surprises for that, when they can try and steal the show. It's a smart move on their part. Keep the big names we don't know for the biggest game show in Japan.

You know, I'm just wondering, I think it would be a great fight between Dormammu and Jedah because they're very similar and could good counterparts.

I mean, a multi hit beam that's solid across the screen being cancled out by a single hit fireball. That's kinda weak. Give the beam slow start up or wack recovery but don't treat it like a fireball. I'm not use to it being treated that way.

I heard that there's gonna be an ending for each character. I hope the cutscenes are all cinematic and not portraits with letter boxes like in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Those suck.

Or have stupid parody-like endings a la MKvsDC.
