Except the question was a "yes" or "no" question so he wouldn't actually be answering the question if he said who was rejected.

Come to think of it, even if Wesker's in the game, I probably won't use him much anyway since I tend to prefer the projectile people (at least in MvsC 2), and I don't see Wesker having any projectiles besides maybe a slight move or two with his Samurai's Edge handgun. Otherwise he'll just have spammable things involving his speed dash.

So in your mind, if someone asks "has Marvel rejected any of Capcom's character suggestions?", and the person with replies with "Cylops", it's probable that what he's saying is that Cyclops is not one of the characters rejected by Marvel?

No but that's kind of different. Remember, he didn't just flat out say "Cyclops". He just simply gave them sign language so who knows what he could've meant?

So, in your mind it is now probable that whoever he is talking about is someone who was recected by Marvel, however it's possible it's not Cyclops. In your mind, someone with a visor on their face and an x on their chest could be a number of people. Is that correct?

Seeing as I don't recall Cyclops having an X on his chest and the question required a different answer, it's possible he could have meant something else.

But no visor. In fact, in none of his appearances has he ever worn a visor. Scott has worn outfits with an X on the chest, though.
