Boy, you should hang out with me, then. I fart a lot. Rarely stinks, to boot.
Forward this to your attractive wife for me, K?
She doesn't have to thank me.

Wouldn't work: I'd fart the blanket right off the bad.

3 years ago I was able quit cold turkey for like 3 months. Since I know I can make it that far, I know I can make it even longer than that.
Yes.
Soda is not essential for me. I can do without. But, several of my family members have addiction problems (with soda) and it's kind of werid, but I understand how hard it could be for you, Ken.
The thing about genes is that everyone is programmed to store fat in places that is determined by well your genes, men usually store fat in our bellies while women store them in their thighs this is genetic between men and women, you must understand that there are different types of bodies the ectomorph, mesomorph etc

Today, the same day I quit smoking, I am quitting soda. Might be stupid to try both at once, but I'm gonna try it. Might as well snuff out both of my vices.
I quit smoking years ago after a few years of smoking. I was a 3 pack a day smoker and had been for years when I quit. I did it cold turkey. It really is a matter of willpower and discipline. It took 5 years before I quit wanting one and another 5 before they quit smelling good. Yeah, I used to enjoy other peoples exhaust with my morning coffee. No desire at all now.
It was a couple of years later my weight got away from me. Again it was willpower and discipline. It was a complete lifestyle change. Eating less and moving around more. I also started eating better. Moderation and choices is what it took. Either you want it bad enough or you don't.
Just don't give in. It will work, has to. You eat less than you burn and the weight comes off. Don't put one in your mouth and light it and you won't smoke. If I hadn't done it myself I wouldn't assume you can either.

Very respectable. 👆
Now I need to follow your lead and get rid of this belly of mine.
So I've lost about 6 pounds so far. And I've not even cut out the good eating. I still eat fast food with my friends every weekend. I just eat less of it. And I've cut out the candy as well.
And same as some above, I've more or less quit soda. I might a bit of coke if I have some hot wings or something, but otherwise I just drink milk, water and Orange juice at breakfast. I'm surprised how easy it was to knock out soda. Granted I didn't drink it all that much, maybe like 3 or 4 times a week, but still. Cutting it out, and simply eating less of what I like is working well. As well as exercising. I'm up to about 45 minutes on the eliptical now. Hopefully within the next couple weeks I'll hit an hour.
