USH'S GAME EPISODE IV- 'CHASE'- LIGHT SIDE AREA

Kellan pushed Androni out of the way and parried the laser fire with her sabre, dropping her comlink in the process.

Xeth, you lose the transmission to Gundy.

Fire explodes around you, Gundy, as Androni curls up to a side wall and cowers. Not much room to manoeuvre in here...

Descending from above using his harness, Balek lands at the far side of the alleyway. From there he continues to stand and fire at you.

As soon as she sighted her opponent, Kellan deflected the laser fire above him, into the permacrete wall, bringing debris down on top of the bounty hunter.

Sadly, only being a hand blaster and a side wall, it only creates a limites shower of debris which he mostly ignores.

He is not coming closer. He is standing there firing shot after shot after shot- occasionally firing at Androni, making you extend your guard. You cannot keep this up...

"By the description of the man I'd say it's..." Xeth stops, and hears the blaster fire out back. "...Balek." Xeth tries the comlink, but finds that the connection has been cut. "I don't suppose you'd care to help the Jedi. Can you tell me which way he went? I'd like to sneak up on him."

Kellan continued to parry shots, knowing eventually one was bound to slip through. She considered leaping to a rooftop, but that would leave Androni unprotected. She decided to try a more direct approach by pushing with the Force against Balek to knock him off his feet and jumping toward him at the same time in an attempt to quickly disarm him while he was down.

"I think he went outside and around the back..." says Li.

Gundark, you push hard at Balek and see him lose his footing. You jump towards him but in mid-jump you are dismayed to see that he has simply gripped onto his harness cord, which suspends him above the ground briefly until he gets his feet back down.

You land next to him. He holds out his artificial arm in front of himself, and there is a purple shimmer as a round energy shield froms across it.

Kellan knew Balek was expecting her to make a sabre attempt on the proffered arm, so she instead reversed her swing into Balek's harness. Dammit, Xeth, where are you ?

A-ha! At LAST someone tries to cut his harness rather than moan "Oh, Balek's harness is too good..."... I knew the Jedi were more sensible.

Balek disconnects the narness as you make your swing. It loses its tension and shoots upwards so you miss, but he is not currently attached.

Backing away fast, he turns his arm sideways and points it towards you. A side compartment comes out of it...

Kellan took a step back, bracing herself for Balek's next assault, swinging her sabre in short arc, eyeing the empty harness and quickly gauging the length of the jump she would need to make in order to utilize it for herself.

Well, Balek still has the projectile launcher for it. What he has left is a length of cord wire, very strong, attached to an upper part of the alley wall.

Six long metal spikes shoot out of Balek's arm and fling towards you at high speed, Gundy. Your sabre will be no good for these and there is no room to sidestep!

In a blur, Kellan spun to get between herself and Androni, pointing her sabre at the incoming projectiles and used the Force to divert them to either side of her.

With Jedi reflexes you just make it in time. The spikes part around you, one grazing your side. One is not deflected quite far enough, and it goes into Androni's arm.

Kellan heard Androni's cry but did not turn her attention from Balek. She once again leapt toward him quickly, taking the offensive, and dove, swinging for his legs.

"If I make speak before master marcus. I am very sure Supreme Chancellor Palpatine would be trilled to hear this.

I hope a plan to the legal entry would be made quickly."
*he glares at marcus, trying to get him convinced he has to push Nebb to get the plan now!*

Sure thing, though I am sure Marcus and mah should be worried about their ship... not to mention the one you saw whilst landing.

I can always dump the spareparts and take one in that compartment 😄

"Holy..., our ship is flamed, lets check it out."

*raises eyebrow thanks to mah's lack of ...erm... let's call it discipline for the time being*
