USH'S GAME EPISODE IV- 'CHASE'- DARK SIDE AREA

"No. No name," says the bartender.

(I see Jolanta is in a spot of trouble...)

Galder sees Jolanta being forced back by Mah. He aims for Mah and quickly fires off a few shots. Then he finishes off the guard that he shot in the arm. He fires some more at Mah, then ducks inside the doorway again.

Problem is, Galder, it is hard to time your shots to take on the guards and try and help Jolanta at the same time- there is a good chance you would hit her, anyway.

(((Um..I'm back but lost.)))

"Thank you anyway." I press the button on the datapad, completing the transaction. "Your new balance should show up tomorrow." I pull Wraith over to a corner. "What now?"

(Hello Allor, nice of you to drop in. I was just thinking about you, for some odd reason. To remind you of what you are currently doing, you were persuing a couple of people running from you. First you have to deal with the grenade sitting on the ground in front, preferrably push it away.)

Galder continues shooting as the fire decreases. He shoots another guard down.

Full marks for game awareness there, Rex! Yes, Allor, you are still pursuing your target.

Galder, the guards are now taking up less exposed positions, hiding behind supply crates and ships. There will probably be more coming as well. Your worry now is that if you do not break out from this doorway where they are trying to pin you, you won;t be able to make it to the transfer point to the Civilian Area when Jolanta's spike in the system goes off- it will only last thirty seconds,

(christ..this is going reaaaally slow)

😄

(Hmm, I thought it was going to last one minute...are there any other ways to get to the transfer point?)

Galder shoots one more down before emerging from the doorway, lightsabers ignited. He blocks the shots.

(How many guards left after my shooting?)

You;re right, it will last a minute. What I meant eas is that it will take to 30 seconds to get TO the transfer point in the first place; 30 seconds to get across. There are no other ways in that you know of. There are a dozen guards left.

-

My apologies, Dexx, but it is taking longer with the Jedi than I wanted- not dissimilar to the orbital depot raid in the last story going on longer than I had planned, yeah? But you really cannot go on until Julie does. Don't worry, nearly done now.

-

Wraith, if this slaver is someone important and has only just arrived then it shouldn't be TOO hard to track down who he is- there cannot be many important slavers who have arrived here in the last 24 hours. And if he is a rich slaver- which you guess he is- he most likely has a distinctive ship (one that can carry live cargo, at that).

Galder, deflecting shots, slowly makes his way towards the transfer point. He spins and wirls his lightsabers to block shots from every direction, with Rura giving covering fire.

"Shall we go for a stroll down by the shipyard?"

Seems like a fair idea. Of course, there must be over a thousand berths to land at at Nar Shadda...

(That's alot of berths...)

(Great. So you're sending me on another wild goose chase with no actual destination, but only one correct place to go? And I "can't" bribe anyone, because I "don't" have any money. (Notice those quotation marks))

(Well, you think a slaver would land his ship? 😄 )

(To unload slaves, I suppose he would.)

Well now, it would be no good if everything was EASY, would it? Hence Kuylen sends out his highly skilled agents to do these jobs...

Slavery is big business on Nar Shadda. SOMEONE will know who this person is.

Galder, with the fights in full swing, and as you and Rura both blast down another couple of guards, Jolanta's spike goes off. There is a high-pitched whine and then a series of electrical explosions courses around the edge of the room.

Most of the lights go out, and the duels seem to rather come to a halt. Jolanta and Chion come side by side. There is a thumping at the main doors as the guards reinforcements try to enter, but the door isn;t working. Chion points towards the transfer point, indicating it is time to go.

"But we can KILL them!" shrieks Jolanta. Chions smashes her hard around the face.

"GO!" he growls, presumably to all of you.

Takuan, there is still the sounds of pursuit behind you. And tendrils still lash out towards your feet. THis whole place is utterly, utterly hostile.

But in a free moment you have to catch your breath, you sense HUMAN life somewhere nearby...

(Which don't help me much as I don't know the name of this guy.)
