USH'S GAME EPISODE IV- 'CHASE'- DARK SIDE AREA

Well, I guess I'll continue going the opposite way of the way I came in.

Hmm, wall...

This white corridor runs parralel to the sewer outlet you were in. The guards came from the left.

"but what answers are the miramar looking for? what do they want to know?" asks Takuan

"Whether we seek the return of the Sith, of course!" says Saar. "The one thing they fear more than Latara's death because they were most likely the only opponents they ever met that matched them. But they could not KNOW if that was so until they asked the Jedi!"

I slowly unhook my sabers, ready to attack.

"How remarkably tiresome," says Arazi. He presses a switch at his belt and from his ship at least a dozen high-yield anti-personnel laser turrets emerge. The two wookies are levelling their weapons against you, and you are sensing extreme danger and possible imminent death.

"Put those toys away," he says.

"one way or another, they're out of our controll now...We can't manipulate them anymore if they let go of Latara"

"But don't you see?" says Saar. "Only NAYLER and his men know! This isn't a planetary rebellion, it is the suspicion of one man!"

He gathers his things.

"We have to get back to the citadel, quickly. The main comms units are there."

I'll go where the guards ran from.

Before long, Galder, you arrive at some sort of underground monorail system- complete with recently used carriage.

"Transportation. Shall we get in?" he asks Jolanta. He gets in and looks over the controls.

"Sure. Gotta go SOMEWHERE..." says Jolanta.

Hmm... forwards and backwards, seems simple enough... but the security coding on this thing is a nightmare. There is a complicated and not-to-scale map which shows the layout of the complex but it is all colours and numbers and... geez...

"Jolanta, would you mind hacking into this thing? It looks kinda dated and it's confusing. Plus, I'm not a computer wiz."

She takes a look.

"Hmm," she says. "This is just a relay. It communicates with security systems AS we pass them. These people are pretty paranoid. They must shift their smuggling cargoes wqith this system. But THAT means it must lead to their spaceport, somewhere..."

I crack half a smile. "I guess I can't fool you," I say, putting my sabers back. "I'll ask you straight then. I need to know where that man you were talking to, Ascar, is."

"I don't know an 'Ascar'" says Arazi, beckong to the wookies to lower their guns. "I am here on specific business for a special client."

The girl strolls lazily over to you, Dak.

"Hi..." she says, in a friendly tone.

(Phew...false alarm there, Dak. Don't just pull out your sabers like that. Now he'll be less eager to give you your answers.)

(Are you hinting at something, Ush? Spaceport?)

Well, you are looking for Persis' ship, yes? And the smugglers must use a spaceport SOMEWHERE else how do they smuggle?

(So...does this thing take us there?)

I am forced to no longer ignore this girl. "And you are..?"
