I find that first scene extremely out of place where the Death Eaters break the bridge, can someone fill me in as to what it has to do with the greater scheme of the movies?
They were just being assholes.

Perhaps symbolism? A sign of things to come?

Or quite possibly that the film is aimed at 13-year-olds and useless actions scenes draws that crowd in?

Could be worse, they coulda had the death eaters taking out a chopper with a car.

This is basically a matter of whoever gets their blow off first:

A massed killing curse barrage
or
A massed TK spam

I believe that the latter is faster, but then again doesn't the HP side have traps and such that they can set up?

Yes they do, not to mention the power of apparition. Force attacks are useless if the wizards can teleport out of them at will.

Let me guess, you think the HP films are better than the DH?

DH4 was pretty mindless.

More entertaining? No, and you know this.

Still more mindey than a lot of the franchise's imitators.

It was way more cerebral than say................. Lethal Weapon 4..

Agreed, but entertaining.

Have you seen the last HP film? Mindless and not entertaining.

Mindless? Not entertaining? Millions of people worldwide of all ages say different.

I've seen them all, some have entertaining moments as long as you accept it's a film for kids and view it from that angle, like Percy Jackson and The Olympians was.

The last HP film was utter shit though. Had nothing of value.

Never saw the Percy Jackson film.

It has teenage girls and emo-boys, you'd love it.

If I am indeed a Harry Potter fanboy, then I am also a SW fanboy, an Army of darkness fanboy, a Riddick fanboy, a John Preston fanboy, and many others.
