Harry Potter Magic versus the Force (Army thread).....

Every trip taken by a character who went into hyperspace.

I'm talking about an instant trip.

Example: The Jedi are suddenly thrust into Manhattan prison. I'm not talking about using hyperspace.

Hell, it took a few hours for the Falcon to make the trip to Alderaan.

Yeah but Alderaan was a whole other distance away.
The Alderaan trip also could have been on a more complicated jump course than usual. It sounded pretty complex from the calculations that he was explaining to Luke as they sought to outrun the Star Destroyers..
Anyway on a scale hours (of DAYS even to be generous in this), the precog would negate that by informing the Death Star and fleet to leave early enough to account for the trip.

And many Jedi fell, yeah!!!! Also, there was not a big ass wall of fiendfyre coming at them. Nor were Jedi neing tricked into fighting one another.

Nah, they'd have at least a few seconds to regen.

And the moment the Jedi decide to mount an offensive, they'll be burnt alive.

Nope. Conjuring spells are a wizard power. Deal with it.

And the odds weren't 1 to 1, more like 50 to 1 in that battle, if not greater, see. Here it's 1 to 1.

LoL, they're not Wolverine dude, they're human; having your throat crushed is doom; fear and panic, with a quic choking death. Not leisurely pulling out a vial; somehow swallowing tears with a crushed larynx; while in the middle of a battle. Let me guess, the Sith/Jedi that did the crushing will idly sit by and watch? Nah, dude, nah. Force-crush = death or possible incapacitation, either way, wizard is out.

And the moment before (due to precog) the wizards decide to mount an offensive they'll be crushed, slammed, throttle, electrocuted and/or sliced into pieces. The moment before > the moment after, see.

Not arguing it isn't a wizard power, but it's the reason why you gave prep here, cos prep is only really advantageous to the wizard side; you knew this and why you catered the scenario to favor the wizards.

Point is that it would take that long (2 hours) and then a whole lot more for the ships to arrive.

Jedi win or wizard win, they'd be too late. This battle won't last 5 minutes.

Not if the wizards uses Hocruxes.

A crushed windpipe won't kill them instantly. They'll have time to sip some phoenix tears. There's really no arguing this.

Nah, they'll be far out of reach from the Jedi. See, that's the beauty of apparition, a wizard can apparate away if they are in danger.

Nah, I simply brought all wizard powers into play. All.

What the ****? So now the [evil] wizards are going to make themselves immortal? Hahahahaa. Anyhow, when their bodies get ****ed here, they're done for the fight.

No, dude. They won't be sipping or drinking anything, they'll be choking and gargling up blood and asphyxiating rapidly; they'll also be defensely whilst they're dying. Wizards aren't tanks, you really need to stop making them out to be more than they are, they're humans.

And when they teleport back, boom, head-shot.

Na, you catered and hoped the prep would benefit the wizards and net you a win, as it's far in their favor to have prep, not so much the Jedi. That's also very telling of who's inherently stronger, fools that need prep to have a chance, or fools that are ready to kick ass right out the gate.

Hocruxes. It's a wizard power. The OP says "No holds barred, anything goes." 😄

Nah, they'll have time to sip it. It regens instantly. Facto.

Besides, Vader would be a fool to use force choke here. He can target only one wizard at a time, dude. If he is targeting one, he leaves himself wide open for a death spell.

Force choke is more of a one on one weapon.

And it's useless here.

Oh my. So after having their windpipe crushed to pulp, the wizard will leisurely pull out a vial, somehow swallow the "tears" inside, all while there's a battle raging around, including the Jedi/Sith who just did the crushing. Guess he/she will just sit there. Do not realize how ridiculous your angle is? Gurgle, spit-up blood and death, this happens.

Never happened onscreen.

Besides....VVVVVVVVVV

Force choke argument= Done. If Vader diverts his attention from the wall of fiendfyre to choke one wizard, he'll burn.

There are 3 Sith here; they all can Force-crush, it's a Sith power. Plus lightning. That equates to many dead wizards a minute into the fight. Then there's 17 other Jedi doing what they do, which includes supporting their teammates and fighting as a team.

And they can target only one wizard at a time. They take their attention off the fiendfyre, and they'll be burned/death spelled/vanished/turned into a ferret/shrunk to action figure size/etcetcetc; Force choke is a shit option here. Besides, can;t force choke if you don't know who you are, or if you are frozen, or if you think you are a ballerina.

Too many wizard powers, dude. Too much range for the wizards. Apparition allows he wizards to escape any and all force attacks.

Again, they're not Nightcrawler, they're not Wolverine and they're not Collosus. Crushed throat = death. Lighting = incapacition/death. Strong enough Force-push might incapacitate them.

Luke choked-out into unconciosness two Gamorreans by waving his hand, so it clearly is both fast and can target more than one opponent, son. He wasn't trying to kill or harm them; here the gloves are off. Have you watched ROTJ?

You're right: Too many wizard powers to choose from....whilst they panic among themselves trying to fit one that answers Death Star lasers thats are on their way to earth, they are in fact destroyed....by Death Star laser blasts that were heading for earth.

Pity they lack Jedi reaction time and precog. 😮‍💨

Nah, it takes a bit of time for force lightning to kill, as it does force choke. Screen feats, bro.

He targeted them one at a time haermm And he aint in this thread.

Nah, no death stars here, Try again.

Nah, Snape is shown casting spells faster than any Jedi casts force attacks.

Stop making shit up.

Yes there are, Susan Gimpington-Smythe.

What facts and onscreen feats....How could I have made them up...?
Did I go round to all the released versions of the film including your DVDs and put the scenes on there just to spite you...????
LOLZ at the solipsism and egomania. 🙂
