I hate to reference the prequels in my arguments, but Jorge basically killed the idea that the force governs the universe. As it comes from microscopic organisms.
The organisms are merely physical level agents of the force...and/or interfaces for lving beings... Yoda's definition still holds.

So I think the two facts aren't neccessarily mutually exclusive of each other.
Qui-Gon also spoke about how the midichlorians are what tell Jedi about the Force's will, not that the midichlorians were the Force itself. It was still pretty gay that they included a biological component to expedite a mystical energy field. It's like priests in Catholicism saying they were the means by which one accesses God--except now they have lightsabers and can do wicked flips and shit.

No need to "try"*.
Not when success was attained the first time.It can have all the mind it wants, but if its made of force, (which it would have to be to be present in this battle) then its subject to the will of the living force.

You really should get round to knowing even the basics of SW, in the future. 🙂
