If you read Thor comics, you know the Norn Stones aren't the most epic amp you can get.

^ (devil's advocate) but he's the same dude that reformed from total death several times, back to complete health.- lindy shot his face off, he returned 100%
- MM took him out, he returned 100%
- morgan le fey blew him to chunks, he returned 100%
etc

And on top of everything, the effect was also spread out to the heroes at the Initiative.
And under Bendis, the Norn Stones are far from some all powerful objects in actual practice. Look at the hood and his crew.

The Void stated kill me so I could care less what else you want to do to distance yourself what we see the Void say right on panel. Bob said it and the Void said it as well and it's obvious this is a conflicted character in all respects so regardless of whatever you want to do his words back up my stance not yours. If he transformed back to Thor and screamed kill me while attacking someone else then Thor wanted to die as well as blake. If blake said it and Thor didn't you'd have a point but since the Void stated kill me you have nothing and will never.
Bendis has backed up the comics that sentry is more powerful than Thor and only lost due to his only weakness his own mind. This has been backed up again and again.
The Void states on panel, kill me so regardless of the past it just changed here when the Void stated kill me. Whether it was partial Void control/partial Bob control he was conflicted at the end whereas he wasn't in issue 3. Bob emerging was why the Void lost and nothing else. If it was all Void it all was going to be all dead heroes.
Void has never been wanted to die. It's been the exact opposite, I don't see why it'd change now.
If Thor had shown a history of wanting to live, it's more than likely, the person who he shares a mind with and was gaining control for a few moments, was responsible for the claim.
So your ignoring the previous evidence why disapprove this silly notion you made up in your mind? Concession accepted.
Really? Then why weren't any of the heroes dead when they fought the unleashed Void?

the heroes think it was great so it must have been something..

All the lesser heroes thought it was something. Thor on the other hand didn't even seem to acknowledge the Norn Stone effect. It's quite obvious and undeniable that all Thor received was a restoration to his full strength and not any amp.
well..thats just mean we have a different opinion..doesn't make any of us rite..so let just ignore the stone..

The heroes weren't dead because these are comics and the villain loses no matter how ridiculous it is. If Thor beats Mangog at the end of the day because he has to that doesn't mean he wins a forum matchup as these aren't stores where villains or the bad guys have to lose.
Like I said the Void states kill me and dies because he wanted death. Thor can only beat the Sentry when guilt weighs him down. at his best the guy can destroy asgard while dominating the avengers and Thor like toddlers.

Thor attacked him once with the power up that caused him damage. Post power up he killed him. And before the power up he was the one who destroyed the physical form of the Sentry. And even in between the final blow and the power up, he was holding down Sentry with lightning.
He just held back a little less at that moment.
A pissed off Thor > Full Power Galactus > Void > Severely holding back Thor > Galactus = Voided out Sentry

Why would he suddenly change which is probably one of the only things about the character that has remained consistent this entire time.
So despite the fact that Thor is able to straight up defeat Mangog in a comic, he wouldn't here why? We use the comics as the basis of our opinions on the forums.
So you missed the part where Thor one shots him right?

I fully believe everything I post.
Thor is the most powerful character in the Marvel, DC and Mortal Kombat Universe!
Originally posted by Rage.Of.OlympusIf by "causing him damage," you mean to say "completely blowing a hole right through him," then I agree. Thor killed him after everything was thrown at Voidtry. Thor did not destroy the physical form of the Sentry. It's arguable that Thor pushed him so far that the Void was emerging to compensate, but hardly conclusive. And I agree Thor was holding him down and tossing around Voidtry with his lightning pre-Helicarrier detonation... after all the damage Voidtry sustained.

I agree Thor was holding back less, if at all at that point.
I'll assume this is a joke.

He can do so but you have to realize Mangog is a lot more formidable and Thor has to win, eventually in his own comic.
If you beat someone after an entire team wailed on him, he asked for death, then it isn't a oneshot is it?
A oneshot means oneshot was all that was needed and was the entire fight.
I swear no one knows what a oneshot is and if we go by your def then Superman oneshotted Thor which he didn't.

With all of the Void's fabled regeneration skills, a single hole shouldn't have much effect. 🙂
Well it seemed as if that was the case to me.
The only thing that showed to have any physical effect on the Void was the hammer throw which made him yell in pain (The yelling was what distinguished this attack from the rest.). Everything else he just stood there tanking, without even moving. I'm being serious here. Besides the throw, I don't recall anything else seeming to phase the Void. Aside from the lightning that tossing him around and the Helicarrier.
You know me so well.
