That's exactly what happened.

Superman can take on DD but needs some kind of plot device to defeat him which means he really isn't a peer.

didn't seem so one sided to me.

no, it wasn't.

except he doesn't, considering he's beaten doomsday without one before.

Henshaw beat him into submission with three blows. How isn't that onesided?

Have any scans of this outside help that prevented Superman's powers from working correctly.

When?

it was more than three. and superman was still conscious enough to come back and win (with or without help). that doesnt necessarily count as a loss.

superman saying that his powers weren't working properly. those scans were posted before, and yet atlas has no amp that would affect superman's powers. his gem only empowers himself.

DOS and Rex. Doomsday Wars too. Superman has more wins against Doomsday than vice versa. Superman has higher feats than Doomsday. If anything, DD isn't, on average, a peer of Superman.

He was at Henshaw's mercy and when we next saw him he had help. It's ludicrous to assume Superman beat him down on his own and the other two just showed up after the fact. It makes sense they turned the tide.

Yes, because of the magical nature of Atlas' powers. There's no explanation that Atlas used prep or had help to affect Superman's powers.

DOS was a stalemate and much weaker version of both. DD came back in full force after that. Superman used a plot device to beat him in wars he couldn't do so on his own.

Rex is a joke compared to hp or wars DD. It's him at his weakest.

DD can rip through the jla with ease and dominate Orion and Darkseid with ease after ripping through apokolips. Superman can't do any of this.

Superman triumphs in the end because he has to but when they match up physically it's DD's fight but sooner or later Superman with aid or with a plot device will beat him.
