Is this routine innapropriate for 7 year old girls?

I don't think it's really a big deal, the children don't know what sex or even the notion of being sexy is, so to them the dance is innocent...

Yeah, that's incorrect. 😬 That's largely untrue for most children in western civilization. (More on that later...last paragraph, if you wanna skip to it)

I think being appaled at this kind of thing is why children are being made conform to the paedo obsessed culture or today. It;s jsut children dancing... It's not sexualising them because neither the children or normal adults should find it sexual.

Yeah, who taught the children to pelvic thrust? Who taught them to dance like strippers? 😬

Yeah...the person that taught to dance sexually, "sexualized" them.

Put it this way... children should be able to do it if they want, simply because to them it's just a fun dance. If some sick pervert finds it attractive that shouldn't be the child's responsibility. I hate this cotton wool culture we live in.

Yeah, you're kind of clueless: An ADULT or multiple ADULTS taught those CHILDREN to dance like ADULTS in obviously SEXUAL ways.
It is the caretaker's responsibility (parents) if a pedo finds them attractive while they dance like strippers.

I swear, dude, if everyone would have said that it was fine, you would have said it wasn't.

Is the dance not in the music video? Even if it was taught, it's not like they know there is anything sexual about a pelvic thrust... Because they don't know what sex is.

And as for your final line... I didn't even read the replies so for all I knew everyone did think it was fine.

But the person who taught them did know that pelvic thrusts are sexual and then went and taught children to dance like strippers. You don't see a problem there?

Really depends on who is teaching it and how. It's pretty silly to think that these children haven't already seen the moves on TV and such before though.

The point is we don't know how the children learned the dance and I don't think tath we should instantly jump to the conclusion that the children were being taught this dance in a seedy enviroment. For all we know it may have been a group on friends copying a music video and one of the parents thought it would be fun to enter them in a competition.

Very inappropriate, they should have more clothes on then that!

I agree with you mostly, in that I'm sure the kids were having a great time, and maybe those are fun warm-ups that an older teacher can teach the younger ones, in the proper context. You know, maybe if there is time in a class, teach them a pelvic wiggle and wink and go, "but save that for the boys". It even empowers the girls then, to some degree

Parading them around for show, in front of people for whom the sexual reference is not lost on, really crosses the line as far as taste goes. I'm one for pushing bounds, but this seems much more exploitative than say, Mapplethorpe's young nudes.

There's a difference when you spend hours and hours of practicing the routine and then actually dress up the children in clothing that is supposed to be provocative on an adult women and make the dance like strippers. Don't you think that is about 100 steps past watching idiots on MTV when your parents are looking? (Parents should watch what their children watch: some of the smut that comes on MTV should not be watched by 7 year olds.)

No, we really do know how they learned to do that dance: it was on CNN, earlier today. That's part of the reason it's controversial, bro.

An, about that last line, my bad: I thought you were being contradictory just for the sake of doing it as you seem to do that a lot around here. So, I apologize for that.

Yuppers. It would be different if two of the little girls got together on a play date (let's be real: that's how young those kids are..young enough to have play dates.) and danced to one of their favorite songs on the radio and tried to imitate what they saw on TV. But not dressed like that in a highly practiced routine like they did on that vid.

As I said on the page before... I don't really agree with the any child pagent or talent show. Not for their content but for their premise.(for inimalist)

As for the post above I don't relaly know the back story, So in that respect I can't really make my point for the case given... Tkae my posts as a more blanket statement.

extremely inappropriate and i am wondering what were the adults thinking especially the parents.. and what kinda skank mother would allow such a thing..

...the heck? 😐

Whoever likes this has got to be a pedophilic pervert. This is all wrong, right from the start. I hope the parents of those girls who approved of them wearing such slutty outfits are proud of themselves because they just made their daughters want to be strippers when they get older.

the world needs strippers nothing wrong with that god bless their soulslolsephsmall

you don't get herpes from watching strippers.....

No, but there are reasons why strip joints have private rooms or do you think people go in them just to play arcade games?

That's not what my mom says!

i'll have you know more often then not nothing sexual happens in the private rooms even when you pay 200 or 500 bucks.. the only one that is getting an orgy sex party in the next booth or room is charlie sheen.. while all you get is a free hand touch in all parts but no oral or sex of any kind unless you consider hand jobs sex...

WHILE I WILL GLADLY DO THEM ALL AT THE SAME TIME IN 11 YEARS,

this is totally and unabashadly WRONG on every level.
