why?even supposing you are bad ass gang banger thugs who might die any minute from turf war over your paper chase, carrying a gun everywhere is like asking to get caught.
we actually got them b/c my friend wanted to be a bounty hunter when he was younger took the classes got certified and then got his wpns permit.. i only did it to support him but he gave up on his 1st assignment 1st week b/c it was too much of a hassle to actually locate the person.. as if they were going to come willingly and hand them their address where they are hiding.facepalm2
i then joined the military a couple yrs later where i kept up with my wpns training renewed my license and have my gun club membership...
anyways i dont look like gangbanger. i dress nice on average, probably right now i look more like this with my sleeve tattoo.

i keep it b/c its my right and " i rather have one and not need it then not have one and need it".
by the way if a cop ever walked up to me and asked for my id and permit i tell him politely no and remind him of my constitutional rights if he gets an attitude and tries to detain me by force with wpn drawn. i will defend myself.. hopefully someone with a camcorder will video tape. ppl might not like it but at least i stood up for my rights and either change the law or give courses about constitutional rights and the limit of police authority when it comes to detaining a person without probable cause or any criminal wrong doing.. suspicion is not enough especially when it is based on a person having a weapon which is not being used or has anyone in imminent harm.

weird, so weird... I can't say that makes sense to my pussy Canadian sensibilities
no its not weird.. its called being a man and not viewing a person being superior or less then you b/c of a badge and as equals.. which is why i carry it and willing to use it..
6 months ago there was a bar fight where guns were fired.. the news guy said a tall black man was involved who had right to carry a weapon.. help stop a robbery and killing of some individual.. the guy killed the robber but also took a shot to the neck.. although he lived..
i was worried b/c i thought it was my friend who is like my brother....
anyways we have isolated towns a few miles from the city in the desert so guns arent really rare and it is probably a good idea to have.
My next door neighbor (back in my hometown) has, literally, thirty two different guns in his basement, including a fully auto M14.
Of course, my hometown is in one of the redder sections of Washington. One time when I was in northern Idaho at Sandpoint, I saw this 14-15 year old walking down the street with a rifle on his back. It was completely legal.
