Almost as LMAO worthy as him claiming to know "everything about Superman" 😂

Darkseid. He's just too powerful imo.

Action 814 was lolworthy, though.

I seem to call out a lot of things that goes on in a Superman comic before it is introduced on this forum and I have done this NUMEROUS of times.

Like I said before, Darkseid got that ass whipped like he was a mid to low herald. Dont blame me for the scans, I didnt put them up.

you did interpret them wrong, though. same as with those other "things".

Darkseid's detractors can't even tell the difference between the Omega Beams and the Omega Effect.

Must be a coincidence. vin

What's the difference?

The Beams are just beams of concussive force and heat. When Superman resists or shows little damage to the Beams, it's only the Beams at work. The Omega Effect is used in conjunction with the Beams, and Superman has no defense against them. Darkseid can use the OE to do anything he wants to his intended target. He can strip people of their powers, teleport them, disintegrate individuals and resurrect them from the dead, manipulate matter and energy, and send people through time. And he can enact the Omega Sanction as an extension of the OE.

Well, this begs the question of why DS didn't use the OE against Superman when he (DS) was getting beat like a redheaded step child? What's your take?

It'd be really boring if Darkseid beat Superman like a red-headed step child. Which usually happens when any writer worth their salt is writing DS. For some reason writers are writing Darkseid like he's a peer of Superman.

That could be it! I'm sympathetic to the PIS/CIS argument, considering this is Superman after all. I'm just curious how DS defenders imagine DS beating a mercenary version of Superman when, it seems, DS hasn't managed to beat the boy in blue for quite some time.

According to Kirby at least the visible beams were just "finder beams", laser pointers that can go around corners and through dimensional boundaries to seek out their target, once they hit their target Darkseid would activate the true Omega Effect.

The Omega Sanction has only been used twice but both times it successfully trapped its targets. I see no reason why Gladiator wouldn't fall before the OS.

Its called bad writing and Superman's jobber aura.

DS 10/10

No, it's called Superman is more formidable than Darkseid. In hunter and prey the writer said Superman was more powerful than darkseid and even at 95 percent more formidable than Seid who can't beat DD without prep and strategy.
