I don't know who'd put out the fire faster but don't count Thor out.

It'd definitely be more practical to use Thor in my opinion.

Thor's pretty damn accurate with his storms. He put out fires around all of New York and flooding wasn't a problem.

As a matter of fact, I don't think flooding has ever been a problem for Thor.

Once again, Thor would be the most practical choice in my opinion. Your going through an awful lot of rationalization and trouble just so you can say Silver Surfer would be the better option.

Not really... it seems like "rationalization" because you're trying to make me come up with a specific method SS would use, and I can't plan for everything that could go wrong... Surfer has rebuilt cities without anyone being harmed, I think he can put out a forest fire without hurting all the little woodland creatures.

I was considering absorption as an option but I was just trying to keep it simple.

Thor could also absorb the forest fire.

Again, a simple rainstorm to put it out would probably the most practical and arguably the most beneficial solution outside of delving into matter manipulation and the like.
