It doesn't matter. Your still a fanboy.Out of curiosity, who picked Thor as being able to cure aids on his own?
I believe it was you

1) Anyone but Hulk would be capable of cleaning up the mess.
2) Thor
3) The Flash
4) Thor, Silver Surfer or Green Lantern
5) Thor
6) Thor or Superman
7) Thor
8) Thor or Flash
9) Superman
10) Silver SurferYou didn't put any scenario that the Hulk would excel at.
He might do better than SM at least, since he's a medic.

My reasoning was based mostly on his resources:
6) Thor and Superman from what I've seen are the two most intelligent beings out of that list. Even Thor has demonstrated Super intelligence etc. And both have the best on hand resources. Superman has his fortress while Thor has Asgard. It would be simple for him to ask his royal physicians to whip something up. I mean it's not as if Asgardian magic has been shown to cure a child with terminal cancer about to die easily in an issue...wait...hold on. It did exactly that in Thor Vol. 2 #54. It was shown that Asgardians have elixirs and potions to cure practically every single disease that the hospital they were visiting were treating.
I highly doubt Thor would be written as intelligent enough to cure Aids on his own. Maybe back in the Silver Age.

Good.
You weren't? Damn, that's harsh. Calling me the Quanchi of Thor. I know I'm a bit biased when it comes to him, but I do back up my reasoning and have evidence to support my opinions. I mean calling me the Quanchi of Thor? That's just harsh.....
I'm not speaking to you.

😂Yea, I don't think you understand what I'm saying.
I'm looking for an instance where it says Thor has to tap the hammer on the ground for it to make a thunderstorm.
Like I told you before, just because he does it, doesn't mean it's mandatory. Thor taps the hammer twice in one issue, and a few issues later you can have him create a storm without having to tap the hammer.
Do. You. Understand. What. I. Am. Saying?
I don't know why I bother arguing with you at all.
You said JIM #84 by the way. Nothing you've posted so far proves that Thor has to be tapping the hammer to create a storm even as far back as JIM. It was simply something he did practically every time and as time went along you saw him create storms without having to tap the hammer.
😂
I'm going to ignore that pointless little jab.
I understand exactly what you are saying and doing('Nuh uh' argument in the form of 'show me THIS exactly' or 'Nuh uh'.)
Logically, seeing as how when Thor first produced the ability in a book it was accompanied by and editor's note. This happened again surprisingly just 2 issues later.
Now, logically, this leads me to believe that tapping his cane/hammer twice is what needs to be done for a storm to grow.
Correct. I did in fact state JIM 84. JIM 84 is when he first summoned a storm, which was accompanied by an editor's note stating the tap tap.
However, after your bullshit reply I decided I would go and look for the second instance of Thor tapping his hammer twice as I knew it was within the next 10 or so issues and my Chef Boyardee Mini Ravioli was not yet hot and ready to eat.
JIM 86 happened to be that issue. This second instance was also accompanied by an editor's note.
So that about covers it.

Really? What type of virus?
Norrin should take it in that category. Thor has been shown to heal, revitalize and amp people but not to the point where he can eliminate viruses and not on planetary scale.

Heh.
I never denied that tapping the cane was the most used form of storm summing for Thor. It was practically the only type of storm summoning he did in the earlier JIM issues. As time past however it became perfectly clear that it wasn't mandatory. He does summon a storm without tapping the hammer and then goes on to tap the hammer to create the storms in a later issue.
You seemed to be claiming that Thor needs to tap his hammer twice to create a storm which is asinine as that clearly isn't the case and hasn't been since Lee's days.
Anyways, concession accepted.

That's why I favored others for 2.

True. i was thought that category was more related to inventing the cure for AIDS for tho, rather than directly eliminating the disease from the planet.
