i dunno what that picture you attached is supposed to be proving, but since neither have swords... irrelevant. Also, why is that everyone has an opinion but I'm the only one to do the ranking.
Do what the OP says, and rank them. I highly doubt anyone will logically come up with a list that drastically differs from mine.
What holds more merit? Beating a nobody vampire who claims he is awesome, or getting punked by a nobody vampire who claims he is awesome? I'm leaning towards the second option.
I understand you guys like Blade, but he isn't a top tier contender, he doesn't hold a candle to the top streets. That is just the reality of the situation. Blade is Shatterstar. Blade is Razalong Knife. He isn't Captain America or Wolverine. He isn't Batman or Daredevil. He is C-List.

And he could have been a nobody chump. The chances that this previously unheard of character is better than the established Marvel swordsmen is slim. He was a vampire who showed up for two issues punked Blade effortlessly in sword skill and then died. Blade's skill with a sword was flat out stated to be weak. What counter is their to that? He beat some other random vampire fodder who thought he was awesome with a knife? Well, even if we give that guy the benefit of the doubt, that still isn't an indication of Blade's skill with a sword.
Varnae was a giant monster when Conan fought him, he didn't use a sword. He didn't even have a human form until shortly before he appeared in the Blade series. I think he got it in a Ghost Rider / Jonny Blaze issue IIRC. He isn't exactly king of the sword.

That indeed shows skill. See? It isn't that hard to isolate their proficiency from their superpowers. It's easier when they defeat or stalemate people far more powerfull than them using it.
