We got cyborgs that are canon in Mortal Kombat and every person who's less technologically advanced can only fit in it even though it has said cyborgs? What's wrong with throwing in one super soldier? Stop complaining. If you count the fighters who aren't cybernetic, you'd notice we have a huge load of ninjas, martial artists and demons so I don't see what harm can be done adding one more science fictional character.

Nothing to do with Ryu being 'less technologically advanced', but more to do with the fact that Ryu's style is far better geared towards MK than MC is.

As for what's wrong with throwing in a super soldier, nothing really. If they want to put him in, or any other character, it'll happen, and there's nothing I can do about it. Putting in MC will still 'gheyify' the Xbox 360 version though, and there's nothing you can do about that.

Still no images of Scorpion and Sub-zero's classic outfits in MK9 yet I think, but I am glad to see Reptile's classic MK2 costume finally making an official return.

That said, if it's all MK2 costumes that make a return for the other two, won't they just be near-palette swaps?

I was gonna get the PS3 version anyway, frankly. Same with MvC3 and probably any other multipatform fighter I can think of. Things like exclusive characters can mean anything from shameless marketing gimmicks to inside jokes or just examples of which gaming studios are on friendlier terms with one another (ie Ubisoft and Konami iirc)
