Am I the only one who thinks that Kratos' moves, cool as they are, are a trifle overkill?

It should be no different than any other projectile from any of the other playable characters. Standard version has two arrows shot straight, while the EX version has three arrows shot at different angles so that it's harder for the opponent to evade, and in some cases, can juggle with all three hits.

He doesn't actually punch so close range swipes are his punch attacks... makes sense really

Kratos punches plenty, more than enough to get a feel for his hand 2 hand style.

I too would have preferred the blades not being his default punch substitute.

As for Goro, I don't see why he wouldn't be playable, since they showed a couple of his x-ray moves in part of an interview, which I posted a vid of at some point earlier (page 24 of this thread to be exact).

But overall, I guess the DLCs consist of like Goro, Shao Kahn, and a few others or something. Speaking of Cyber Subzero, I heard he has an ice bomb move. Like the sound of that.

Well there's arrows on the bottom right and left of the pics (next to the Cyborg Sub-Zero pics).

Oh yeah, there's that too.

Also, Onaga for DLC!

Goro & Kintaro are playable, don't worry about it. The only boss who isn't playable is Shao Khan.

Im so Hyped for this Game, been waiting a long time for this Game.

Khan not playable eh? That changes things. mmm It'll be kinda weird to see him not playable after Deception (if you count the Gamecube version), Armageddon, and MKvsDC, not that I used him much anyway.

^Kintaro, Goro are not DLC, they are both in the game, the MK team said that Gamepro article was wrong about Kintaro being DLC.

I'm really curious to see what kind of attacks Cyborg Sub-Zero has.

I'm glad to see at least one of the MK icons has an evil counterpart that's a separate character.

Yeah, those are the moves (no surprise that he'd have an ice variant of Cyrax's bombs). Look here for more info on him.

Meh. Would've rather had Onaga, Moloch, Motaro, or someone than a Goro 2.0 with tiger stripes, to be frank. Good to hear about Kenshi though. Guess he was one of the post-MK4 characters that was liked well enough to be in the game. And who the hell is Scarlett?

So the Ice Parry is still in the game somehow. That's cool. Can't wait to see how the other attacks.

A glitch found when selecting Milenna/Kitanna in MK2 had them appear in a red palette swap

She's now a character 😐

so Kintaro is not DLC?

Oh, should've guessed that's what Scarlett would be judging from the name. lol Guess it'll be interesting to see what kind of moves she has, assuming they don't pull a Chameleon or something with her.
