Mortal Kombat 9

Shao Khan was hard the 1st few times, but even on the highest settings, he's a cake walk now.

One stagey that is full proof. TURTLE.HIS.ASS! Wait for him to do a move that leaves him open (taunt, charge, arrow, some normals, etc.), if you're feelin really risky, bait'im. Jump in on'im or (over him), right outta range and whiff a few jabs or fast recovery moves, make'im do somethin stupid. Time his attacks correctly and punish with BnBs if you know them and they work on him. If you don't know any BnBs, hit'im with the best you can muster.

Sounds familiar doesn't it?

Indeed. ^^

Finally got to encounter classic Jade by doing a fatality on everyone up to Shang Tsung and then getting a double flawless and fatality on him (with Scorpion, doing the spear > teleport > mash x/square > spear > teleport and repeat does wonders against Tsung's AI, if you're on the easiest difficulty). Classic Jade didn't have an x-ray/super meter when I fought her in Goro's lair, but she was completely immune to projectiles. Was pretty close to beating her. >.< Facing the retro version of Noob Saibot in the arcade however, is the cheapest enemy of all, not that I need the extra gold/money from beating guys like him anymore anyhow.

the games is good, i have done all the fatalities of every character and babalities on every character and have finished the story mode. i don't like the fact that you need a stupid DLC code to get the retro scorpion, subzero and reptile outfits so you can do their other fatalities. (FYI you do not need these to get the achievement)

He's a cheap *****.

What did he do to you?

How many challenges are there in the tower?

Also, how come I can't unlock and of the test your might/sight/strike/luck challenges past #1?

There's 300 challenges in the tower, and the other levels for test your sight, luck, etc. don't unlock until you progress further in the tower. They're actually tower challenges themselves.

For test your luck, I found that if you press the correct button 7 times exactly when an MK dragon logo appears as a slot on one of the reels, you'll automatically get it when the reel stops spinning.

I did all the Fatalities for the characters in the Fatality Training, and No achievement. does it not count for doing them in the training ?

Did you do the "secret" ones too? Or just one for each character?

Yeah, it doesn't count for doing it in training, sadly. I learned that the hard way too.

On beginner difficulty, after the slot machine chooses your random opponent, press x/square 7 times for the first slot, y/triangle 7 times for the 2nd slot, and b/circle 7 times for the 3rd slot. If you don't see an MK dragon logo on all three slots while they're still spinning, press start and go to retry to save yourself some time. It's random on whether or not you get the dragon logo on all three slots, so you just have to keep restarting until you get lucky.

Johnny Cage is the true American hero, or something. mmm And I guess that was Shang Tsung talking to him at the end?

There's a list online. Each character has 2 fatalities, plus a stage fatality, plus a babality. You can also unlock them in the Krypt.

And Ed Boon as the tv producer Ed Goodman.

Yeah, I was kinda shocked to see him in there.

The guy has the skills, but he just doesn't scream "Johnny Cage" to me.
