edit: I did it! Wow, it was easy when you do it that way. Just gotta keep your cool and be patient with it. The last Goro I finished off with an x-ray right when it really started to damage me.

Lawl, that's pretty much how I normally play against Goro anyway. He's pretty easy when you know how to beat him. Same with Kahn, in all honesty.

noob saibot definitely is, imo.

btw, anyone have any tips for using Cyborg Sub Zero? I'm on his story section, and I'm at the part with Goro and Kintaro.... I usually have less trouble with the pair with other characters (Cage, Kung Lao, Liu Kang etc), but for some reason I haven't hit that "i can kick the shit out of them with said character easily" level.

Any strategies/tactics people might have, please?

The one thing that has to irritate me about multiplatform fighting games is that there's content exclusive to one version. Really now, is Kratos being on the 360 for once gonna make his creators have a stroke or something? At least have someone from the Xbox side add somebody like Master Chief, Marcus Fenix, or even one of the Heroes from Fable (better than nothing, right?) in the 360 version. To have the scale tipping in one side's favor is pathetic. There should be a balance in this.

Cyber Sub Zero is slow. What I did was I slid my ass off and just jabbed and moved. Neither Goro or Kintaro can be grabbed, so just slide, freeze, and uppercut/roundhouse.

It worked for me.

How about Jago from Killer Instinct? That should at least satify KI fans who've been wanting the series to comeback somehow (after being teased for so many years) and for fans who have been wanting to see MKvsKI.

I think Jago, Orchid, and Fulgore all could fit in the roster but I personally want Jago if I had to pick. He's always been my favorite KI character.

I love Kitana's down-forward high punch (I think?) special move. Not the fan throw, but where she attacks swiftly while holding the fans. And yeah, Sonya's all right too, at least more-so than she was in MKvsDC, and hotter as well. You'll get better with her too by doing challenge #248 in the tower, which is basically one long endurance match as Sonya.

Yeah, I think it's Down-Forward Back Punch that you are talking about. She's pretty fast too, and she's go that air-dash of hers. Plus she's hawt.
I also like Noob & Smoke tbh (Noob-Smoke ermmha). Smoke's Teleport Punch is awesome, and Noob's...well you know. He's also got a pretty badass fatality, a hilarious babality, and cool abilities in general.

Noob is kind of OP because of his ranged attacks, and that projectile of his is deelish, especially when you use it before his teleport slam attack. I don't know about Kratos, but I do know that he'd be broken had they given Kratos his usual range whenever he uses his Blades.

Speaking of which, just finished the last challenge, thanks to that uber combo with Ermac I learned from the Goro challenge vid I posted yesterday. Once I perfected it, I was able to do 25% damage to Goro and Kintaro each time I hit them (and almost as much to Shao Kahn, whom I finished off with an x-ray), and Mileena was demolished even faster with it. awesome Before that, I was attempt it for the longest time with Nightwolf, doing his tomahawk combo in addition to his shoulder ram, but apparently his ancestors did not give me enough strength after I got past Kintaro. 😛

Ah, okay. Yeah, gotta love the square wave punch or whatever, especially when you do it in conjunction with her fan lift. Like her primary costume better than her secondary though.

Off topic but Kratos is the only one I can rape Shao Kahn with only a regular basis. Nothing like deflecting that hammer toss right back him.

I liked Sub-Zero's Special moves in MK vs DC than MK9, Except for the Fatalities.

he can do that? wtf?

i can beat shao kahn easily with: cage, liu kang, and kung lao. though again, those are the only ones i've fought him with. kitana too, though that was just by backing off and spamming fan throws.

I played though the tower not so much for the reward, but just to see if I could do it, and for the trophies/achievements. Mileena's costume was a disappointing reward with that said. I wish it at least had a white veil on her or something so I didn't have to see that Tarkattan face. Then I'd might find it hawt all around. I've definitely no objections with your alternative for the reward; that would've been a better idea.

Meh. I only started using Nightwolf because of his nice 4-hit combo that involves the tomahawk, which you can then use his shoulder ram in conjunction afterward. Was also hoping to do some major damage to the bosses with his reflector, but apparently it doesn't reflect Kintaro's annoying flame breath, so it may have been overrating on my part.
Bah, he lost to Scorpion because his ancestors didn't give him the strength needed during that fight, as opposed to when he fought Quan Chi and Sindel! Seriously though, I kind of agree with Scorpion in that he dishonors his kind. 😛

Yeah, that's why I don't like her secondary costume as much. But at least that kind of face doesn't stop Sonya from lookin' good in this game.

Yeah, admittedly, that is kind of a turnoff for me whenever I'm looking at him after I win, to see him always doing that tacky pose with his shadow clone. >__>
