Yeah, his use of Ermac was pretty ****in impressive. Although, he spammed the same tactics and combinations every match, seemingly. uhuh

True. If it got him that far then more power to him I guess.

Yo Ridley and the other MK Lore fans; what changes do you think will take place in the next game?
We better get a zombie Kung Lao and a sexy female lin kuei apprentice to Smoke.
Who exactly is the leader of the Lin Kuei in the new timeline? I know Sub-zero II took over as the leader in the original timeline, but Sektor or someone else seems to have that role right now, unless they bring Smoke or someone back and he defeats Sektor and takes over as leader of Lin Kuei, just as Sub-zero did in the regular timeline... Would be fitting too for Smoke to have an apprentice with that said, now that you mention it.
Needless to say though, Shinnok's return still seems inevitable in the future. Same with Onaga since nothing that transpired before MK1 got altered in the time shift. That much remains unchanged.
One change that I do want (but am not sure will happen) is for once Scorpion finds out the truth again about Quan Chi killing his family and clan (and not Subzero), that he actually manages to kill him this time. No one deserves revenge/justice against the sorcerer more than Scorpion...

Yeah, I think it'd be Sektor only. Wasn't his dad the Grand Master before or something?
That said, half of the good guys are dead, so somehow, they'll have to be resurrected, maybe by the Elder Gods, or some dark deal with Quan Chi/Shinnok.
Speaking of Shinnok, I wonder what his plan is. Obviously he wants Earthrealm, but does he also want the other realms like he did in MK4? His plan shouldn't have changed I think, but obviously how MK4 will play out will be different. Perhaps Shinnok will even obtain his real amulet from Quan Chi, after giving him up to Scorpion in exchange awesome

Yeah, seems to be the case. If they're resurrected though, I just hope they're done so properly and are not still all zombie, like when Raiden had to fight most of them.
Maybe... The fact Shinnok had a fake amulet though was the only reason he was able to be stopped in MK4, as well as in Subzero Mythologies. If he's got the real thing, he'll basically have all the powers he had before as an Elder God, and I don't know if Raiden or any of the heroes would have any way of beating him like that. Would be cool though if Cage were the one to defeat him this time, since he caused Shinnok to run away from him prior to Armageddon according to his MKA bio. awesome But other than that, yeah. I still see Shinnok's plan as being the same too.
Think they're finally starting to make a good comeback again. This new one at least takes the badly weird taste out of my mouth that the Kitana & Mileena episodes gave.
Also, whatever happened to the DLC with Skarlet and stuff? I thought it was supposed to have come out awhile ago now, or did it get delayed or something due to the PSN fiasco?

The Playstation Store is still undergoing maintenance, but online gaming capabilities are up and running.
This week's episode was much better than the previous two. Christ, the Kitana/Mileena stories were as boring as watching a golf game.
Ah, I see. Noticed the 360 version still doesn't have the DLC either, so I guess they were waiting for PSN to get back on their feet so they could release it to both consoles around the same time, or something.
Ugh, yeah. They were..
~ Forgot if this was already brought up or not, but am I the only one disappointed at how you can't play as a tag team with someone online? The only way you can do it is if you got another person with you that's playing on the same console. When I heard you could play as a tag team with someone on the arcade ladder, the idea of being able to do so with friends online was one of the things I was looking forward to most about the game, as well as two friends being able to play against two other people online without having to be on the same console. Maybe I was just assuming/expecting too much out of hype, but you'd think that would be something they would've done...

Don't know if that grandmaster dude is still alive in the new timeline, or if Sektor already killed him.Yeah, seems to be the case. Meh, if that Grand Master has been in that position for quite a long time, then I guess he is Sektor's dad. Hopefully someone else becomes Grand Master, like Smoke.
Also, I wonder how they're going to bring back Human Sub-Zero II. I hope he doesn't stay a Cyborg.
Agreed.
Still, Raiden beating all of them at the very least puts him on the level of powered up Sindel.
Raiden has already beaten him in the past though, but he had help from the Elder Gods it seems, so using the same plot device powerup used in MK9, for MK10, would be stupid. >__> Either way, if Shinnok does get his real amulet, we both know there will be some way he will be beaten.
Maybe Johnny in control of his powers will in fact be able to beat back Shinnok to a point where he can be taken out by Raiden. peaches
~ This week's Legacy Episode was far better than the last two. I thought the the White Eye part was epic.
God I hated the use of the animation in episodes 4 & 5. The music was awesome however.

Indeed.
Yeah, it would. If anything, it would just make Raiden seem weak too if they were to keep doing that. Can't always rely on the Elder Gods, especially being the arrogant pricks they can be most of the time.
That would be a great twist. If Liu is to be brought back though, I reckon he'll still be bitter and pissed at Raiden and try to kill him or something, making him kind of the good guy turned rogue who must be stopped...
Yeah. Was kinda stupid though how Raiden needed that girl's help to escape. He's a god, and seeing as how he like teleported out of there, I don't see why he didn't do that earlier, though I did like how he took that old guy's Chinese hat at the end and walked off. awesome
Agreed on the music, but the use of animations in episodes 4 & 5 was just weak on their behalf. Why they couldn't just have those parts be done in live action as well? (like when Mileena turned and devoured that guy) Meh, I just didn't like the overall acting of those episodes either, for the most part. Edenia's warriors must suck compared to Earthrealm's if they lost all 10 mortal kombat tournaments for Kahn to enter the realm and take over.

vague DLC details
http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/116/1168987p1.html
The first Mortal Kombat DLC will be released "certainly within the next month," according to Mortal Kombat chief Ed Boon, though it could be as soon as "the next few weeks."The DLC will introduce the sword-wielding Skarlet to an already-substantial MK roster. Like many of Mortal Kombat's kombatants, Skarlet's nativity was a palette-swapping glitch in Mortal Kombat II, which turned Kitana a deadly shade of red.
Speaking to G4, Boon also confirmed that the DLC will "tweak certain variables," and that full details of the patch will be outlined on their official website – www.themortalkombat.com – upon release.
He also revealed that his intention was to support the title for months to come, refining the Mortal Kombat experience for fans.
as soon as the next few week?... as soon as PSN Store is up, sounds more like it... 😄
... and, Skarlet uses swords?
I thought she used knifes, but whatever. Close enough I guess. I just hope they also give her some kind of unique/original backstory for existing in the MKverse, and not something totally vague or nonexistent like Chameleon's background (though that wasn't the only reason guys like him sucked as characters from the start).

Huh. According to the wiki, Skarlet even made a cameo appearance in MK9's story mode, where she appeared among the crowd when elderly Shang Tsung was hosting the MK1 tournament. Did not notice that. Must've been one of those characters that competed whom we did not see fight, like Reiko.
Yeah, you see her in the crowd if you pay attention...
