Yeah, because of what you said, I think a movie would be even greater now if done by the same director than it would've been before, but eh, you know hollywood... Other than that though, I liked how the design for the cyborgs looked so nice, unlike those costume looking things from Annihilation, lol. Cyrax's Wolverine-like claws seemed like a sleeker version of his buzzsaw move from the games too. 😎

This. ^^ Some of the previous episodes may have not been all that, but this one's on a whole other level of quality. If it is indeed the last episode though, then it gives grand finale a whole new meaning.
On a slightly different note, somethin' tells me that UMK3 Subzero (without the mask) as shown here will prolly by the only 'klassic' costume coming with the Freddy compatibility pack, but if they do have more DLC someday, I hope they give us MK4 Quan Chi, Deadly Alliance Shang Tsung & Scorpion (or MK2/MK3 Tsung), any classic version of Sonya, maybe Deception Scorpion and/or Subzero, Cage's outfit from his MK9 ending, and Great Kung Lao as alternate costumes. Probably won't happen though, but one can dream.
