Based on post history, Arachnid's actually more a fan of the Governor than most here, so for him to come around and admit Negan's superiority like that is pretty telling/admirable. 👆

It's an objective truth. It doesn't matter how much anyone dislikes or likes him.

I've agreed with you in just about every argument he was involved in, before now. Despite that, anyone who looks at it objectively can see that Negan has had more impact on the main group and show, not to mention the most influence in the WD world seen so far. As far as I can tell, everyone here thats arguing against him is really only doing it out of a dislike for the character, which is pretty stupid.

Originally posted by Arachnid1Negan has more numbers behind him and I've always maintained that the Governor would beat the shit out of him in a fight. Governor is someone who cannot be reasoned with unlike Negan who doesn't have any of the other leaders entirely under his thumbs save for the pacifists. Daryl escaped and Negan has left two alive who tried to assassinate him. He just is delusional. Sure, he will survive but he's already been lucky but that doesn't excuse his delusions of dominion over Rick and his crew. When it's all said and done you'll walk before your opinion here. Just remember I tried saving you from yourself.

On the episode itself, that scene on the highway was a bit intense and an awesome way to take out walkers! Any theories on who that group at the end were? And what made Rick smile so much? I'm thinking he either saw someone he recognized or he thought to himself, 'Hey, if we can get these guys on our side then we have a shot.' The former seems more likely to me though.

Your theory isn't relevant here. Governor >>Negan. The actor who was on the same damn show said the same damn shit I did after I said it.Ultron used other means to amp himself and still failed. Loki did the same thing. Loki was more of a threat. Ultron in the end was dealt with. Loki still lives.
Just face it the Governor would ass**** this dope.
And as noted Morgan said the same thing about his character.
Negan's clearly meant to be the bigger villain from the writer's and show's point of view; that trumps what actors say about the character they're playing.
Your hatred of the character is blocking your ability to be objective. Let go of your hate.
Originally posted by RobtardHe is clearly meant to have the bigger supporting numbers aka his army than the Governor. I've never disputed this. I have always maintained the Governor was more formidable and unable to be reasoned with. You can reason with Negan, hell you can make an attempt on his life and still walk away for the most part unscathed. Negan being corny has nothing to do with the reasons I have listed.
