"I don't think there's a world where Negan and The Governor can exist together. I think they would have to take each other on, and you know, it's obvious that there would be one winner in that, and that would be The Governor. I don't think there's any sane person that would argue against that. The Governor is the ultimate villain in the show and there's been people that have come in and have sort of pretended to be like him, but no one's ever going to take that crown. And I think Negan certainly isn't going to take it. He's bad, but no one was like The Governor."

I told you all. I friggin told you. Take that Negan sycophants. I as usual said it first.

It's funny because the Governor couldn't even beat Rick's group. And he tried three times.

The guy who played the character saying his character was best. Not biased at all, clearly.

He didn't have the man power Negan did. I always said Negan relies far too much on his army. Governor ascended to power and brutalized badasses in one on one combat. Governor wasn't reasonable and wouldn't ever stop. Negan would try to make a deal and he'd get beaten to death. Governor as I said will be the best WD villain. Negan is too cheesy and retarded to ever seriously challenge the Governor.

Governor was far more despicable than reasonable Negan. The actor is correct. If you try to kill Negan he lets you off and kills someone else. You can't get any dumber when someone tries to assassinate you.

What makes Negan so scary is that he's in total control of everyone around him. Governor in the other hand couldn't even control his emotions, lol.

Villains generally get more formidable as a show/film series progresses. This is just facts.

Wait, who said their character was the best?

David Morrissey

Oh... I like him as an actor and enjoyed his performance in WD (more than I did his Governor itself per se), but for him to be saying that is kinda egocentric.

No, he isn't. Rick is coming after him. He's just biding his time due to his mega army. Carl even tried killing him. Governor can't be bargained with.

Flawed premise. Skeletor was more formidable than Hordak. Loki is more formidable than Ultron. Russell Edgington was more formidable than Warlow. The final season also had the weakest antagonist of them all. We judge any match based off the tendencies, feats, and pros and cons of every character not some baseless theory easily disproven.

You once argue McClane wins because he's survived more films. Your theories are silly and baseless.

That seemed to be what he meant by controlling people around him. The mega army.
Negan on his own is basically jack shit.
With his army he has the means to have literal captive audiences to play to.
Fun for an egomaniac.

He doesn't really have control his enemies are taking shots left and right. They have to bide their time but when Negan somehow survives he doesn't even kill them he kills someone else. He will come to a compromise the Governor won't. Governor would rise to the top.

Incorrect again. A few exceptions do not make the rule. You've also said before "big bads are left for last" or something to that nature, so you overall agree.

Negan > The Governor. Deal with it already, it's 2017.

ps Ultron was also more of threat than Loki, he nearly eradicated all life on Earth and did so without the Chitauri backing him.

Your theory isn't relevant here. Governor >>Negan. The actor who was on the same damn show said the same damn shit I did after I said it.

Ultron used other means to amp himself and still failed. Loki did the same thing. Loki was more of a threat. Ultron in the end was dealt with. Loki still lives.

Just face it the Governor would ass**** this dope.

Well yeah, of course the actor would pick himself. JDM said the same about Negan lol

“It’s not even close,” says Morgan, flashing that devilish grin. “I mean, I love David Morrissey, but he wouldn’t stand a chance. Wouldn’t stand a chance. I’d put Negan up against anybody. He’s super smart and there’s no filter, no fear. The Governor was a little bit wack. Negan’s got it together. It wouldn’t even be close. And I’m sorry, ‘cause I really love David. He’s awesome. I worked with him for a year and there’s just not a better guy. But Negan versus the Governor wouldn’t be close.”

Agreed. You have to measure a threat in this show by the size of the group they can manage to control, and their impact on the main characters and overall world. Negan's own men alone are a bigger group than the Governers entire town, and he manages to control multiple communities at the same time. This is something bigger than the Governor could ever manage.

No one could deny the impact he's had on Ricks group both physically and mentally either. The group was flat out terrified. Yeah, of course they're going to eventually come back and win, but when they were at their worst, Negan managed to wreak three times as much havoc on them than the Governor. It's truly no contest.

Thats a load of crap.

In your (wrong) opinion.

Your post won't show up under the regular quote function. I have to quick quote this. Well Morgan is flat out incorrect. Ratings have dipped as well so don't count your lucky stars. Nothing and I mean nothing Negan has done compares to the impact Governor had on his own people, Rick's people, etc. We also see the Governor come up the ranks with a different group of people. We see how subtle he is before enacting his grand plan of stealing power. He convinced a man after he killed his brother to follow him.

Negan falsely believes Rick is his guy but he will soon feel some pushback. He's an idiot. There was no compromise with the Governor. Rick tried to reason with him but with the Governor he won't stop. Negan might burn you or kill a friend but the guy might come over for some lemonade down the line. He still hasn't broken Daryl yet. That's kind of pathetic tbh considering the resources and the time he's had with him.

You'd have to be insane to think Negan has a chance against the Governor. Governor is the TV's greatest villain by far. Watch as Negan continues to fall flat.
