I don't really like Megan very much as a villain. He talks waaaaaaayyy too much... That would be reason enough for anyone to blow his brains out, just to make him stop TALKING!

Also, I don't get why someone doesn't just shoot him. After a few encounters it's clear nobody from Negan's outfit likes him or gets anything out of working for him. One shot to the brain and then what happens?

Ah well... he prolly die sometime in the next series.

Because an organised attack on their home base would give them a chance to assassinate Negan and end the whole Negan threat. As all his thousands of men then would fight amongst each other for leadership and larger shares e.t.c.

Also remember when they took out one of Negan's bases last season? They almost did the whole thing quietly with knives. Plus the more of them they take out, the more guns they get for themselves.

Heck Jesus on his own could probably sneak through and assassinate Negan.
