[B]You act like everyone is like you, i.e. hates Negan. The ratings also dropped with season 3, the Governor's debut. 👆 Negan will be as remembered if not more, there was no failure with him. People love him, just as some hate him.

The show is still stagnant as it ever was. The Whisperers are interesting, but they're definitely no Saviors. You're only praising them just to take more potshots at Negan because you're obsessed with hating him, and I'm merely calling you out on it. 👆

Too soft? Negan killed plenty of his own people when they didn't deliver, not to mention his right-hand man. Negan got stale at times, sure, but the Governor definitely got stale too, especially by the time of his sendoff. Saw his fit of rage from season 4.5 coming a mile away.

The Governor also got his ass kicked by Michonne, without Andrea's interference he was a dead man. Negan didn't just overpower Rick when it mattered, he broke him.

Not everyone but he is not universally loved like a Thanos. The Negan villain crashed and burned. I mean the guy is cow towing to Judith ffs. How the mighty have fallen.

Ratings were nowhere near as bad as negans epic failure of a season. Things needed to change.

Whispers are way cooler than the saviors who were nothing special. Simon was the best one by far. Governor was never stale and rolling up with a tank and killing some of the shows most significant characters from the jump is something Negan was only able to accomplish due to his overwhelming numbers.

Negan was broken by Rick too. He was pitied by his enemies and spared. He was downright pathetic. If you are into guys who beg for you to kill them as your big bad ass you are welcome to it.

Governor was manlier, far tougher, a true psychopath. Negan is more reasonable, far more forgiving, and his body is frail like a meek woman. Have at him.

And the Governor is universally loved? Please. As for the Judith bit, I don't see the problem when Negan has nothing left to fight for at the moment and Rick being gone. Like in the comics he'll have some better moments again later like he always does.

Which season? 6 I didn't really care for either when barely anything happened after the first episode, but 7 was decent aside from the Carl wasting. You can try to pin it all on Negan, but there were plenty problems the seasons had itself apart from him.

The Whisperers aren't really that special themselves once they were figured out. Glad we agree on Simon though. 👆 Rolling up to the prison with a tank was only possible because the Governor had numbers himself, you can't really take that away from Negan. Negan even gave Rick a chance to kill him when they were alone in the RV. Rick failed.

Like with any antagonist, of course the time would come for the good guys to eventually win, but that doesn't take away what Negan previously did as a villain. He was spared because Rick was wanting to be better with what they were trying to build. He would've spared the Governor under the same circumstances.

Hey, if you're into delusional losers who break down after their zombie kid gets shanked, I won't judge either.

If you want to call that manlier or tougher anyway, have at it. 👆 Negan still cracked Simon's windpipes like a twig in a one on one fight. The Governor's neck would be no different.

Look at what rick does to him one on one. Governor had him dead to rights. Poor Negan. Rick had him saved. Negan later begged Maggie to kill him. How badass. Please kill me. Pathetic. You can admire his weakness for begging for an end.

Rick bested Negan one on one. Governor beat the near life from Rick. One on one. Governor beat the **** out of him. Governor kicked the shit out of Merle. Governor is bigger, stronger, and meaner than Negan. Negan cared about Carl. Despite the attempts on his life he was emotional. Weak.

Governor killed his own girlfriend. The guy was a complete psycho. He would end Negan. Negan might beg him to do it. So maybe they both win since Negan breaks.

Governor cared about his zombie daughter and I personally loved it. Far cooler than caring for a dumb baseball bat.

Look you can pretend Negan is a badass but he begged for Maggie to spare him and she pitied him. That is as weak as it gets. Gross.

Governors troops were not all entirely loyal and that was the second group he ascended to lead. He would usurp the leadership with negans crew too. Negan was beaten and spared so many times it is laughable. The dude is a chump. Weak little girly man who let a kid tell him what to do.

Rick and Negan had multiple fights and run-in's. You make it sound like it was easy for Rick, who had to play an underhanded tactic to even win. If caring for others like Carl or Judith made Negan weak, the Governor caring for a little girl who was already dead sure af made him weak. That's why he lost to Michonne. The breaking moment Negan had with Maggie is unrelated to any fights and thus irrelevant.

Merle definitely was not one on one. Governor simply jumped in for the kill once his men discovered Merle's location who were already ganging up on him & beating him up. Negan and Simon was strictly one on one, mono e mono.

TV Andrea was a pathetic spitting image of her comic counterpart, so that didn't say too much about Governor's capabilities. If the Governor was in Negan's group, he would get around as far as Dwight did, which wasn't far at all. Negan knows how to read would-be usurpers. Simon, etc.

Negan never pulled the trigger with rick. He lost because he is an idiot. That was the governors own not a child of your enemy. Negan is too emotional and had terrible judgment all the way around. Plenty wanted the nut bag dead. What is relevant is him pausing to hear rick out. Then he got sliced. That is just the icing on the cake him begging Maggie to kill him.

Governor screamed leave him to me. He was not defeated. Governor bit his fingers off and decimated him. Negan was overtaken by a zombie for ****s sake and rushed out to safety.

Andrea was someone he cared for so doing that shows he is much stronger emotionally than pansy boy Negan. False, Negan would get clubbed to death without any warning. Negan is too soft for the Governor.

I did like how Negan was ironically more of a father to Carl than Rick was that whole arc, the icing on the cake being how Rick was told by the enemy that he failed as a leader and a father after his son's death. Negan wasn't wrong there. I don't disagree that hearing Rick out by the end was the wrong move though, but I mean again, doesn't really invalidate the previous fights or even moments when Negan physically overpowered Rick which still happened.

Merle was already downed on the ground by the henchmen when the Governor shouted "leave him to me" and grabbed him from behind & started attacking him without Merle having a chance to do anything. Didn't help either that Merle got himself drunk when he went on his little suicide mission and wasn't sober when he allowed his position to be given away by tackling that walker. Context.

Okay? Negan would've lived regardless of the walker because he's a survivor. Even in his last episode appearance he outwitted hungry dogs and walkers that were after him, on his own.

Every one of Negan's own that he killed he cared for but still did it because he felt it had to be done.

Simon was basically everything you praise the Governor for. A true psychopath, couldn't be reasoned with, etc. Even pulled a fast sucker punch on Negan during their fight, but Negan shrugged it off and came back & killed him. 👆

So my point is he lacks the ruthless required to dispose of his enemies if he cares about them. You agree that it was a bad move. Rick held his own against Negan unlike against Governor. Governor is bigger, more ruthless, and unreasonable.

Merle was sharp enough to sharpshoot so please with the excuses. He tore the guy up and did not let up Unlike Negan who lets Rick plead his case. Edge:Governor.

So he would have lived, lol. It shows he is not that badass. We see him need help. Governor survived on his own too. I am not saying he is a total scrub just that the Governor has the substantial edge.

Hence why I liked Simon but he is not the governor. All psychos are not created equal. In common opponents in Rick we see Governor maul him unlike old Negan.

Governor would not hesitate Negan clearly would and has.

It's been unwatchable for at least 4 seasons.

To think, we've had 9 seasons of this but only 5 seasons of Leverage. We live in an unfair world.

^^^Well its simple, all the ppl that hate this show keep watching, then go online to complain that its still on.

Rinse, reapeat.

😆

To be fair I only watch Youtube Reviews of the show and still their jokes about how bad the show has gotten..

Hee Hee!

Absolutely! And I am actually surprised that this shitshow continue to attract millions of viewers, and Season 10 is expected. People encourage this shitshow to continue.

AMC pissed on the hard work of Frank Darabont, and utterly ruined the Walking Dead Franchise for me.

Same Formula works for Marvel....

I stopped watching TWD during the course of airing of Season 7.

I only took interest in the Rick's departure arc of Season 9 (two episodes in total). Not watching it anymore.

I am interested in this TV show: http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f36/t659294.html

It is kind of lame to continually cry about something you do not enjoy. Cry elsewhere.

Nope. Stop watching the show after Carl died. I didn't see any of season 9, not even Ricks final episode

Looking at the last couple pages, you’re the exception that proves the rule. 😂

This show did NOT do Negan justice, that's for sure.
