TBH, she already has.

In this episode it was especially aggravating. I get that she is a guarded character, but what the hell was she thinking?! Now is not the time to glower and remain silent. Hell, Rick even calls her out on it saying "You came here for a reason." But she still refuses to talk... ugh.

But she did talk.

At first she didn't really trust them, eventually she did...I don't see the problem.

She didn't speak up rights away when Massa' be axing his questions.

I can see that happening. He seems like he really cares what people think about him, and in the post-apocalypse world, people of different colors and cultures have to live together. Guv can't be seen to play favorites.

He'll probably try to rape Michonne in the season finale, shortly after he rapes Glenn. He won't want people thinking he's racist and a homophobe.

This guy gets it. 👆

It's unfortunate that it looks like the whole Michonne vs Governor fued isn't ever really going to materialize. I knew they wouldn't be able to do it in such a brutal manner as in the books, but to drop it entirely is a huge mistake. It was an essential part of Michonne's character development and a big part of why she was such an enormous badass, without that brutal fued her character will suffer significantly.
They're breaking into Woodbury now. I doubt that'll be a smooth in-and-out operation.

Don't worry, there's still time for Michonne to get brutalized. 👆

The racism in this post disgusts me. 👇

Glen and Maggie were in mortal danger. Michonne knows this and seems to know that this is the group they are from. Yet, she refuses to tell Rick and his group that their friends are in danger? Now, I could see someone doing this if they were an ass, however, it makes no sense in Michonne's case because it seems she went to the prison in the first place to warn them and secondly she trusts these people enough to be their prisoner.

You're disgust of my racist ideals offends me.

Seems she went to the prison to save her own ass as she was bleeding severely, with helping Maggie and Glen being a hold-out card. Her hating Merle and the Governor probably factored in as well.

Pretty much.

People have been wanting to hate Michonne for any reason since she first appeared.

Uh, she did tell them they were in danger, what are you talking about? Why do you think they are going to the town?

Of course. I didn't mean to imply that she didn't. However, she only told them after being their prisoner for awhile. Therein lies my problem.

That would make a bit more sense. I just assumed she stumbled over there to warn Rick and his group. After all, she didn't seem that keen living in the Governor's town, so I figured she went to Rick to help them rather than to join their group.

She woke up from being passed out 7min into the show, Rick asks for her name, she doesn't answer and after about 30 seconds they leave to find that one chick who is still alive.

They come back ~11min into the show and she tells them what happened.

In total it was probably about 2 min of interaction before she told them what happened.

So what are you talking about?

You forgot where Rick jabbed her wound cos she got uppity and didn't answer immediately.

She deserved it, did you see how she was looking at him all black like?

I'd say it was at least a 9.7 on the Blackness scale.

Hard to get blacker than that and not have Hip Hop blasting in the background and grape soda.

Has she done any gang signs yet? I'm hoping the next time she runs in to Andrea we'll get to see them do this intricate, Urban, hand signal greeting. They spent 8 months together, some of Michonne's swag likely scissored rubbed off on Andrea--which probably explains her 'Aww no you di'int' atatood.

I think all this stuff belongs on the casual racism thread. 🙂

But seriously, have caught up on season 3 now. I have to say, it's the best one so far. Even though they tamed Lori's death (as they seem to be doing with all the most shocking parts of the comic book.) it was still pretty heart-wrenching. Personally, I think they should have cast that Nubian hottie with the great arse from True Blood as Michonne.

Who?

Rutina Wesley.

That's her. I can just never be bothered IMDB'ing anyone from an HBO show.

I think she was up for the role. But thankfully they chose the right girl.
