Damn, I'm apparently very far behind, because I didn't even know about this: Why Frank Darabont was Fired.

And apparently some of the cast members (Dale, Lori) wanted to die and get off the show because of the way Darabont was treated.. very interesting indeed.

That article was pre season 2, so either she didn't or she wanted to die earlier due to butthurt.

Yeah, it sounds like this Stillerman dude effectively ruined what could have been a GREAT thing rather than just a good thing.

I've always thought the pilot kicked so much ass, and the rest went downhill. Now I know why.

Well, you can see why they wouldn't entirely trust someone like Frank Darabont, I mean, he's only made two of the best movies ever: The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.. 🙄

(and I think The Mist is pretty great also)

Didn't they cut Breaking Bad's budget too.

That is probably their most famous show and they still screw with them.

Darabont directed The Green Mile and Shawshank. Bet they're missing him now that the show is in the prison. Also, does anyone think that they'll still be in the prison come the season 4 premiere? They were there for such a large part of the comic books, but it feels like they're rushing through the storyline a bit. Unless I'm just trying to relate the number of comic books set in the prison to the amount of actual time that they spent there.

Damn, that was a nice mid season finale.. some good pay-offs. I like where the Governor is going. He's turned more menacing..
