If the Empire has Maul's DNA, why does Sidious not just get a clone of full 100% Maul instead of trying to mix and match DNA from different people that is bound to go wrong.

Also, i would find it pretty incredulous if Sidious does not know about the cloning world of Kamino being used to, wait for it, clone people! I mean after all it was Sidious's own masterplan before the Clone Wars to use Kamino so you can't say that he would just conveniently forget about the planet. 😮

Why would Sidious want another Maul? The guy couldn't even beat a padawan. And besides, he didn't have the freedom to train a new apprentice untill he was Emperor and then he had Vader. Plu, y'know, rule of two.

Sidious could use Maul as a sith acolyte, assassin or even Emporer's Hand till Maul proved that he could take Vader's place.

Sidious wanted someone with unprecedented potential and power, like Anakin or Galen. Maul was a nobody following these guys.

In the Resurrection comic book, Vader had to stab himself just to beat Maul.

I think GL stated that this quote by Yoda in ESB was originally just a theatrical ploy (check the ESB director's commentary), but ROTJ changed that and GL placed Leia as the "other".

Of course, knowing we'll probably have TFU V and VI in 5-7 years' time, the 'other' will likely change again, and your bet probably isn't that far off 🙂

On another note, that cameo scene with Yoda is both atrocious and intriguing. I don't know whether or not to cry blasphemy against the Classic Trilogy for allowing the incredible Dagobah cave scene to be repeated (retroactively) with Marek.

I know, but it's still an observation that may come true if GL continues on his TFU quest. 😛

The game ends with Vader being captured by the Rebel Alliance...

Hopefully he'll be the protagonist of the next game. Hell Clone-Galen Marek could be the main boss, explaining why he never appears in the timeline after that.

TFU 3 was cancelled. Probably after GL saw what happened in the second game. 😐
