Tilulla is opting to wear body armor! Anyone else?
I will go over the rules for body armor for Digi's sake. Every point of Armor you don, you lose a point in your Agility stat (and related skills, including Lightsaber and Combat). Generally Jedi forego armor for this reason, but don't let that discourage you.
Navir will being wearing a light blast vest. Barker, being a Wookiee, declines it.
"Gotcha boss," I nod amenably at Xeth. "Gator, see who's around. See if you can estimate how much electrical activity we have within the area as well." I'd like to get a sense of what level of electrical "buzz" we're dealing with that Rexx mentioned, or possibly what kind of functioning tech they have in the area.
G8 taks a moment to analyze the static energy in the atmosphere.
The way he is beeping does not seem to be good news. He is saying that the static can be potentially damaging to electronics in the long run. That includes G8, your blasters, even your lightsabers.
Your ship is shielded, though; it is unaffected.
Hrn. That changes things. Xeth, any opposition to leaving G8 here? If we bring our astro's, we should save them for when we'll be facing the enemy.
Also, should we create a lightsaber rotation system, where one of us leaves a saber behind to try to ensure that at least one of us will have a working saber later on? I'm happy to volunteer for the first "shift" without one.
Also, Rexx (through G8), how would a bowcaster, vibro-blade, or grenade be affected?

"Thanks Gator. Any lifeforms around, or is there too much static?" After I receive my response, I send him back into the ship.
Without any care, your lightsaber, bowcaster, and grenades would become totally disfunctional. It would take a Fix-It roll to get them back on. A vibro-blade would simply do less damage.
Same with your astromechs. They would slowly accumulate damage until you gave them a check-up.
G8 says he is picking up lifeforms but cannot pinpoint them due to the interference.
