You get intiative! Tilulla tumbles into cover and puts herself out while Xeth lays down covering fire. Two droids go down to his sonic blasts.

The scrap metal you take cover behind is partially melted by the onslaught that comes next. You nearly come out totally untouched except for a close call with Tilulla for 3 damage. Remember to make your swaps!

The flamethrower units douse your cover in plasma and finish melting meaning, you are exposed.

Swap Forward for Focused, tap Block for the extra AP.

I go after the wounded flame droid, leaping out from behind the smoldering rubble.

Vera-Kin passes her Persuade roll.

"Come this way," they say, leading you toward the resort's main tower.

Xeth moves out with Tilulla, remaining under her protection as he takes down the last two droids.

Vera-Kin will follow!

Evens is still yours! Xeth keeps up his decent rolling and destroys the final two droids with his shots. Tilulla jumps after that damaged droid, tapping Block for extra dice. However, she rolls a great deal of 4s, which do not count as successes with Focused Guard. But on her last die, she rolls a 6... a hit! She cuts the droid in two.

She then must make an Agility check to avoid the ensuing explosion as the droid's fuel tank is ruptured by her blade. She passes! No harm comes to her from the blast that tears apart the remains of the droid.

All incoming lasers are deflected with laughable ease, and she swirls away the flames from the remaining droid.

Vera- you are rather surprised when they do not lead you into the resort itself. Rather they guide you toward the maintenance shed nearby.

Xeth goes bonkers and starts unloading his blaster's charge at the soldiers that have taken cover, trying to clear them out quickly while Tilulla watches his back.

Tap CC.

Any more cover? If not, I go after the remaining Flame droid. If there is, I'll play defensive for a turn and see if they come to us.

There should be, Rex described things as being a mess of scrap. Xeth will stay with Ti either way. Hopefully his tap handles most of the soldiers.

Evens switches to the enemy this time, meaning you are still out in the open when they open fire. It is Xeth that takes a hit this time! For 2 damage.

The remaining droid tries to set Tilulla on fire again, but she gets away clean.

We then get only one kill out of Xeth's tap frenzy...

I am close to delirious from fever and meds. I'm going to refrain from posting tonight. I might regret it.

Ok, I'm in cover, so it might be advantageous to pull out my gun, no? Using my saber would require losing the cover.

I draw my gun (and yes, I realize it's a turn).

That means Ti will be receiving full cover this turn. Cover operates as Parry- one point if you are firing from cover, two points if you stay fully behind it. A point of Parry removes one success from an enemy roll.

The only difference is that Parry is a concept (received from schticks like Focused Guard and Eye of the Storm) and cover is a physical something that can potentially be destroyed with too much gunfire!

Additionally, does Ti have Coordination?

I do have Coordination.

And yes, I won't be firing, so full cover I guess. I don't suppose that extra Parry can translate to Bodyguard?

Unfortunately, Bodyguard turns off the moment your lightsaber does.

As it is, Xeth has +1 Parry from Eye of the Storm and is in cover with you!

Coordination makes you harder to hit when you are not taking an offensive action. Good to keep in mind when you're doing something like this or moving into cover!

I'll stick with the cover at the moment I guess, no force Point. Thanks though. I pull my blaster.

Swap CC for BGu.

Xeth is going to be daring and leap from cover, jumping onto the flamethrower droid. He puts a sonic bolt straight into its face before leaping away.

Tap ES if flamethrower droid attacks him, tap CG for extra dice.

Vera-Kin follows. She asks why their leader is in a tool shed and not inside the resort.

5-6 means they fire first!

Ti draws her pistol in the safety of cover. I'll go ahead and run Coordination for her, since it is free to use. Remember that! Powers don't always require point-spending. She's untouched.

Xeth experiences the same safety, though more because of his schticks than the Force.

The flame droid sets to torching the cover you've chosen when Xeth leaps from cover and nearly lands on the droid. His roll isn't great despite his 14 dice, only gathering four successes for 7 damage.
