Hmm. This does not bode well.

"No women? Should I be worried? I assume it's because of the harsh living conditions, but if there were none at all it might mean something else. Was there any biological warfare between the groups on Respite?" I pour a shot and throw it back, looking intently at Horus.
"Mmmm. I guess I just get my pick of the men, then," I say, smiling.
"We need to solidify a plan though. I defer to the two of you," I say as I gesture at Xeth and Vera, "but my vote is for contacting the warlords and trying to at least broker a tentative peace, if not an outright alliance."
"Then hit Tarne's hub as quickly as possible, and try to set up a distraction from the warlords if we can to mask our assault. But, as before, I'll happily let your votes supersede my own. I don't have the experience with these things that you two do."
"I agree with that and that makes us the majority unless Navir and the Wookiee disagree," Xeth says. "So how do we go about it? We've got two warlords. Do we split and see where that takes us? Or all together? Either way, I don't see it being by any means easy. Malteen sounds like a nutter, first off."
"Head to the nutter first then," I suggest soberly, despite no longer being entirely sober. "If he's less likely to work with us, we'll make our mistakes with him and have a better idea what to say to the second guy." I scratch my back furiously, suddenly quite itchy. "One warlord is all we need for that distraction."
"Fair enough. Whatever you think is best." I take off my jacket (I don't usually do robes, though I own them), a bit warm from the alcohol, revealing a tan tanktop underneath. It clashes slightly with the plain black pants, but I'm more comfortable.
"How long do we have before we arrive? I'm not in any hurry, just seeing how long before we have to finalize the plan."
Vera-Kin might want to do the talking since she has the better social skills.
Vera-Kin is loathe to consort with warlords that are just as bad as the one they want to bring low, but if Ti and Xeth are okay to go through with it, so will she.
"I agree that we should talk to Wazo Kell first," Vera says. "Malteen sounds like a gamble."
Didn't mean to slight you, Vera. If you're best suited to talking with them, then by all means.
We seem settled on making radio contact with Kell, and I think the plan is to enter into a truce with him. And possibly see if he'd be willing to stage a distraction while we attack Tarne's fortress. I don't care if we land first, it probably doesn't matter either way. So long as we land somewhere inconspicuous or uninhabited.
I inform G8 that when we near the planet, to find us somewhere in the general area of Tarne's fortress, but nowhere populated. If we decide to land elsewhere, we can, but it'll be nice to have it scouted.
