Either way, my point was, whether you dislike a sport or not, at least treat it with respect. I'll be the first one to admit that you need to be a great athlete to play American football, but it's basically ''stop and go'' action for 48 minutes what bores me.
I know a lot of Americans take American football very seriously so I won't go into a Superbowl thread and make asinine remarks about American football, and I won't make a thread calling it gay on the day of the Superbowl.
What you can't even begin to understand is how important football is to a lot of Europeans and South-Americans, so even a little joke about it will upset people.
